Back To School Shopping

We had a busy day shopping last week for Raimie's coming school year. Lots of stuff to buy. School uniforms, shoes, school bags, etc. Taking advantage of Jusco J-Card members' day, we did our shopping then despite the huge crowd looking for good bargains at Jusco. With two schools to attend (primary school and religious school), back to school shopping sure can cost a lot of $$$.

We were lucky that he got so many colour pencils and stationeries as presents from his school and from his aunt and uncles, we didn't need to buy any of that.

Although we didn't need to buy any textbook for him, we went to Popular Bookstore for some workbooks for Raimie. Extra workbooks for him to do over the weekend.

There's only a week left of the school holiday. Raimie is starting his Standard Two next year. Time does fly, doesn't it?

Zaini and I will be taking a day off on Raimie's first day of school. We need to sort out his schools fees and whatnot that day.

I hate going back to school last time. And because I spent my weekends and school holidays with my grandparents in Shah Alam, my parents actually had to drag me, kicking and screaming back to my hometown! LOL

  12. Ooh! Time flies...when you are having a good time, they say. So, you must be having a wonderful time, Lina. ;)

So far, I've only been to a JCard Day sale once and that too was a fluke. I happened to be there and that was the day. Honestly, I'm not very good at paying attention to this day. Besides, I don't quite like the queues but it was enjoyable enough. Hope you did some good shopping.

I pretty much cannot avoid J-Card day because I work at MidValley.

Just shopping for Raimie and Zaini who needed new work clothes. Good bargain and got vouchers too.

  18. Time flies for sure! I'm a college student in Hawaii and the calendar says I have been on winter break for a long time now. The problem is that the calendar and I disagree!! To me, it seems like our winter break has just begun and I should have about three more weeks off!

Hope you enjoy the rest of your winter break and that Ramie has a great school experience in 2010. Happy New Year!!
