Braving The Crowd At Jusco's J-Card Members' Day

Two days of shopping madness at MidValley's Jusco as they are having their J-Card Members' day yesterday and today. When it's J-Card day, traffic jam worse than usual is normal and this time is no exception.

Although I do feel that the past two years' J-Card Day crowd is tamer than it used to be. Last time, when Jusco opened at 7.00am, you would see people queuing as early as 6.00am to enter the store! Madness, I say.

We initially thought of buying Raimie's school items today but there wasn't much choice and size for Raimie's school uniform there.  We didn't go back empty-handed, though. Zaini got a few work shirts sold at 70% discount. The same shirt is sold at Robinsons at 50% less so buying them at Jusco is really good value. And for every RM100 we spent, we get RM10 vouchers too. I'm such a sucker for free vouchers. *^-^*

We are planning to head to Jusco in Cheras Selatan for their J-Card Members' day next week, on Dec 22 & 23.

Any of you went to Jusco MidValley and shop till you drop? :-)

  3. @Ayie,
I saw a few pregnant mommies busy shopping and they have a bodyguard to protect their bump i.e. their husband in front of them, making sure others parted way for the mommies. Your hubs should do that. :D
Who can resist good deals, big bump or no, right?

  4. @places4holidays,
Lucky you. Even if I don't want to go to Jusco, I'd be indirectly affected as my working place is so near to Jusco.

  7. @levian,
true! If once in a while, shopping in a huge crowd can be fun. I try to limit it to once a year, though because I always ended up buying more. :D

  8. @ladyviral,
Didn't even venture to the supermarket. It'll be madness in the supermarket, much much worse than the upper floors! Cannot cope with the squezing of trolleys all around me! @_@

  11. 70% disc? hmm... tempting indeed!
But I give up chasing discount now. I had bad habits with sale seasons in the past. Always ended up spending more than I supposed to and regretted it later at home, lol,...

  12. @Evan's Mom,
I do that too. I went to a sale with one item in mind to buy, and I ended up leaving the store with 5 things I have no intention to buy in the first place! :P

  21. I can tell it's easier to shop here unlike in Asia...asians are just shopoholics. Here it's more of trendy boutiques and even bargain places are not too crowded.

  22. @Ayie,
Yeah, Asians are shopaholics and one more thing, some of us have no issues in invading others space for the sake of a bargain. LOL
