My First Valentine

Hubby would probably whack my head for showing this publicly.

But that rabbit - that was my first Valentine's Day gift from him. Way back in 1996. It's so much older than our Son!

I've gotten a lot of soft toys from him and most of them are handed-down to our Son (you should have seen Raimie's crib when he was a baby! Can't see the baby because the crib was full of cuddlies!) but the rabbit is hands-off for Son. It's special!

And after 16 years, I'm still not letting go of the rabbit.

It doesn't get cuddled now because it is so old, but we have a place for it and it's staying there for many more years to come. <3 <3 <3

  1. I was grinning like an idiot while I read this.

First reaction: Awwwww that's so SWEET!

Second reaction: Oh, how the mighty hath fallen! I remember you said Zaini didn't want to talk to you at first. Then he gave you this cute cuddly rabbit? That's progress! ^^

    Thanks for sharing.

    1. It took a lot of hard work and being totally shameless for Zaini to finally give me that rabbit.

On our first date - he didn't wait for me because I was late! And he was totally unaplogetic about it afterwards. @.@ And I was (still am) *stupid* enough to stuck through and get my man.

Man, I sure do not like doing things the easy way, don't I? xD

  11. The rabbit is so adorable but what a cool way to recycle soft toys. I'm sure Raimie as a baby loved being surrounded by cuddlies!
