Can We Go To Somewhere Expensive, Please?

That's exactly what Raimie asked us a few days ago. He wanted to go for a meal at a place nice and shall we say, classy? Good thing though our standard of expensive is not high and what Raimie had in mind was either Tony Roma's and Pizza San Francisco. To San Francisco it was for us on Saturday. Raimie got his wish and the lunch was an early Father's Day celebration for the Dad too. ^^
Raimie and Daddy were boring so they had 7-Up and Coke. Mommy drank kedondong (ambra) juice with sour plum. Yummy!

Daddy had chilli mussel and margherita pizza. Of course Raimie just had to ask for a "tiny" bite of what Daddy ordered!
Raimie didn't ask for Mommy's because Mommy had the same as his. Salmon steak for both of us. But Mommy enjoyed her bowl of seafood soup too. Just the soup. The seafood in the soup was eaten by Raimie and his Daddy.

We didn't do anything special for Father's Day last week. Well, nothing special unless you count this lunch and the fact that Mommy "allowed" the Daddy to sleep in for both Saturday and Sunday. Instead of doing a long run in Putrajaya, Mommy let Daddy sleep and Mommy ran around the carpark instead. All the 15K of it on Saturday! Do you know how many loops I had to do that day? kekeke

Anyway, a belated Father's Day getaway is in order but it got to wait till Mommy is done with her SCKLM run. We'll go for a mini break on June 29th!

    1. Here's what I think. If you ever come to this part of town, I'm taking you to Taman Warisan Pertanian and show you lots of local fruits there. We can "steal" a bite or two while we are there.Deal? ;)

I think he had a lekker day. We ignored him for most part of the day and that's how he likes it. Kekeke

    3. Trans : Agricultural Heritage Park. It's a park where they plant all sorts of trees for us to see & touch. We aren't supposed to pick or eat any of those fruits, but tell that to most Malaysians who visits! Ourselves included. ;p

There's kedonidng, rambutan, jackfruit, durians, jambu air, ciku even rubber trees! We can pretend to process rubber the oild style there too! ;p

    1. Well, I like it better than Pizza Hut. ;p

Plus it was much more comfortable and quieter than more famous pizza chain.

  10. My kids regard any air-cond restaurants as "classy" places, because we always eat at kopitiam or open-aired hawker center. Hehe...

    1. His definition of classy would be Western food where he eats with knife & fork actually. ;p

Pizza hut is not one of them though. ;)

    2. LOL!! knife + fork is classy. I think my kids think that way too~

But once we brought them to a kopitiam and ordered chicken chop, the eldest one whined that it wasn't a "classy" place :p

But the seafood in the soup - those are the stuff Son and Hubby likes to eat and always let them eat those prawns, squid and mussels. I am a Mommy. I sacrifice. Hahaha

    2. Hahaha, mommy always sacrifice. I always "eat" my kids saliva - leftover food.
