My Running Companion Photos

of his precious, precious bike... taken in Putrajaya, along the route I usually take when I do my runs there. I occassionally run in Putrajaya and sometimes, my companion would take out his bike and cycle alongside me and keeping me company.

Other times, he'd just walk around and waited for me at the car within our agreed time. After all, the Putrajaya core island (where Presint 2, 3, 4 & 18 is located) is quite big to explore. Or when the mood suits him, he'd cycle alone or with some fellow foldies buddies he met there.

My guy is not the "hearts and flowers" kind of guy, but I'm very much happy with the gestures he did for me! One of them is being patient enough to cycle slowly for two hours and wait for me!

He doesn't like me posting stuff about him and "elevating" him into this nice guy image (his words exactly) but since when do I really listen to him? heh heh Though I have to say, it's so hot when he acts all protective over me. ^^

Anyhoo, some photos of his precious bike (got it in Japan, no less).
At the start of our running/walking/cyling route. This is near Putrajaya Holdings building and overlooking Masjid Putra. Seems like a popular spot for photographers trying to catch sunrise photos. Further in the background is the Prime Minister's Office.

Come later in the morning and for the rest of the day, that area will be swarming with tourists. Cars & buses loads of them.
We passed this Seri Gemilang bridge a few times. Once at this side and going under the bridge. Then, at the other side (at the side where Putrajaya International Convention Centre is at) - under once and we went over it twice.
and here, overlooking Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside hotel; at the Water Sports Complex. With the sun already high up in the sky, it was so tempting for me to jump in the lake and cool off! You can cool-off at the nearby public pool there at Presint 6 or you can have a picnic by the lakeside or play at the small man-made beach area there too!

There won't be any running there in Putrajaya for me for the rest of September, as I'll have Adidas King of The Road run this Sunday, Taiping Marathon next Sunday and Salomon X-Trail at the end of the month! I guess I'll be seeing Putrajaya again in October. After all, I have Putrajaya Night Marathon in October! Half-marathon though, not a full marathon for me! ^^

    1. Aiyoh! From your place to Putrajaya is so far. Understandable lah.

From my place to Putrajaya is only about 12km. Better than needing to travel to KL Lake Garden.

And running there is nice... at least I don't have to contend with stray dogs in Putrajaya.

My housing area now has two new strays and the two dogs made it difficult for me to do my hill intervals... :(

      Delete
    2. yalah, you must fully utilize Putrajaya facilities, because you have "chipped in" so much money to that place~~

      Delete
    3. True.

We all chipped in. Fully utilise lah. xD

    1. Simple. No fishing! xD

It's not a Japanese brand (it's a Hummer bike) but can't find a Hummer bike here hence the lure of him getting it!

He want to buy a Brompton bike... no need to go to UK. There's a Brompton shop in Kobe! ;)

    2. You didn't buy a Japanese bike?!

      Collapses in horror.

      (^0^)

Ah, Brompton. Everybody wants a Brompton, but they're not exactly cheap. Perhaps the price of three pairs of running shoes? :p
