Thursday Is Pasar Malam Day

Already Thursday? *good gracious kami* Time flies. One minute it was Sunday and now Thursday????!!!

Well, it's Thursday and that means Friday is tomorrow. Then, the weekend arrives! Woot! Woot!

What's so nice about Thursday? For us, anyway?

Today, there's Pasar Malam (night market) at FIL's house.
Can drink cheap RM3 ice blended fruit drinks and can eat cheap food too.
I wanna eat beehun soup later this evening.

Or can eat totally unhealthy deep-fried stuff that taste absolutely horrible but people do seem to like them. All those deep fried chicken, chicken carcasses, hot dogs, fish balls, sotong balls, what balls la... Dunno why people buy and eat them? Those things taste horrible!
Better eat satay.

How about buying groceries at Pasar Malam? That I haven't done in ages. I guess I like it better buying them at a more "sterile" environment of the air-conditioned supermarket. xD

And some randomness, just for Meow. You guys know what that is or not? No prize for guessing though. kakaka
It stinks. It is fermented. I like both stinky food and also fermented food. I should absolutely go and do colon check-up and see whether it's healthy or not. o.O

    The last few years I started to patronize the Malay stalls too as I found many of them have become innovative and good chefs! Their competition becomes so stiff that they will naturally improve their skills. I salute them.

    I find the Malay Bihun is more tasty and fragrant than the Chinese style. It is just different ingredients used.

    Chicken carcasses...eeee!! I only eat one part of ayam - dada. Dari kecik sampai sekarang. My mom said I ikut my arwah nenek i.e. her mom. Sampai sekarang kalau dia masak apa2, she'll save the dada part for me hehe
    Actually I dah lama tak pegi pasar malam. Beli groceries kat pasar tani pun dah jarang, since there are a few 'small pasar' near my house that sells quite fresh ayam/ikan/sayur. Of course I prefer to go to sterile air-conditioned 'pasar' too haha. I tak reti pegi pasar besar :P

    Petai kan tu? I eat the fresh ones tapi masak sambal la..I love budu, cencalok...hmmm kena check colon gak ni.

    Can't remember the last time I went to the pasar malam. Sibu - every night, same place. People come to Sibu, I will bring them...and then I ask them to go by themselves while I sit and wait at a nearby cafe, relaxing in aircon comfort... LOL!!!

    the fried stuffs still okay to me.. what i cannot tahan are those so-called SALAD lah.. just dump in everything and put in all kinds of weird salad dressing, or maybe i shall just say all mutations of mayonnaise.. urgh, some even looks like what you did in the toilet!!! awful and i wonder why people buy those!!!

    BTW i don't "dine in al fresco" at pasar malam, i always only tapao and then have the food at home..

    OMG is that jeruk petai?? looks so scary and horrible!!! already stinky somemore jeruk pulak.. that you can't even have during weekends, must only take them when you have at least 5 days of leave from office.. :D

    talking about pasar malam.. do you frequent the one at bangsar every sunday?? got one nasi lemak stall, their nasi lemak so nice and so fragrant, i like it so much, tambah nasi the portion so huge can feed 5 small kucing at just RM2.. but then are not there anymore, how sad!!

    Hahaaaa, i`m one of the guy who addicted to those deep fried kulit ayam garing, although i tried to cut back, cant hav it frequently or else i`ll b having coronary heart attack soon.. hahaa... Creepy much...

    It seems so unhealthy, those black recycled cooking oil used for deep frying those chicken n balls... Gosh, lots of acrylamide, carcinogenic stuffs... Guess I rather stick to satay n bakso only then... Yummeh!
