Just In Time

This baby of mine just came back after spending a few weeks over at Sony Service Centre. Just in time to capture more running shots at Newton Challenge this Sunday. *phew*

Problem with the memory stick slot, and it took more than two weeks (must be waiting for the parts from Japan, as it was so long....) and I'm RM190 poorer. The parts was charged at "only" RM50 but workmanship in Malaysia sure is expensive! RM40 to check, RM50 for parts and the balance was for workmanship. o.O

You know, I am very much tempted to get the Samsung Galaxy camera. Just imagine the number of photos I can instantly bombard you with, using a wi-fi enabled camera! No more need or excuse to use huge iPad or tablet taking photos and instead, use a proper camera for a change! ;)

    2. Got Wi-Fi then no need to use iPad mah... I can immediately upload photos even while running. Real time update! Cool! xD

Actually Sony also got camera with wi-fi enabled model. But Samsung is promoted heavily now, like Yvonne said. :)

  5. then might as well you don't repair the Sony, so that you got an excuse to get a new camera.. now with that repaired, aiyah, seems like not appropriate to get a new camera right?? :D

    1. More and more people resort to using iPad and other tabs to take photos. I saw several parents in my kids kindergarten used it to record video of their children crying in the class on the 1st day! What for?

    1. I like using camera, but the cons is, they are bulky. The small and compact ones usually don't capture nice picture.

    2. There are a lot of compact cameras that can take nice photos too, Yvonne. Though they can cost a lot too. ^^

  13. Because when my girl plays ping pong, I find my current Sony camera, when zooming in, it was kind of blur. So, I also think of getting a better camera. I prefer those lighter and easier one. Just good enough for an idiot like me to look pro in photographing.

    1. Get a Nex lah... can fit in those telephoto lenses and zoom until the zit on people's face also can be seen clearly.

NEX is my camera model. Current model is NEX 6. Body small. Lenses can be as big as you want. :)

But if I get my hands on Samsung Galaxy camera, that would be another story, nyek nyek!

  20. I used to buy sophisticated cameras over the years but they gave me problems one after another! I think DSLR are more lasting but too heavy for Anay's travels. I love to snap from mobile phones - sharp enough and can edit as well. Senang dei..!
