Ready For School?

This applies not only for school-going children but also to their parents. kekeke

School opens on Jan 2nd! School holiday is almost ending! Gah!
Raimie's books and school supplies list. So many stuff to buy...

At least, at Raimie's insistence and actually complete ambivalence about getting everything new for 2013 school year, we don't need to buy his school shoes or uniforms as last years' stuff fit just fine. He didn't want us to buy him a new school bag either, despite the bag being in tatters but I've got some AEON vouchers from the company annual dinner and we spent it on his new bag. An el-cheapo bag of RM50.

He got his hair cut to regulation hair already which is a pity, I tell you. I do like him with mop top hair. ^^

One thing that we will buy regardless of son's reluctance over getting them will be Standard 5 workbooks that he will need to do over the weekend! He doesn't go to tuition classes just yet, and all the "extra" studying is and will be done with his parents. Expect plenty of argument. Hahaha

Can't wait for the new school year? Not really. ;p

same here la. I first touched a computer when I was in Form 1. From Form 1 - 5, I hated the computer classes. Always get C one. Imagine my surprise after rejecting a chance to do TESL course, I was offered IT course pulak. Full sponsorship some more. Hu~

You only play with your two balls ah? No play with others punya guli? Kekeke

    1. Anay! I was a MARA student tau. From the age 13 till I graduate. ;p

    2. MARA got several places I think. It is a good institution of higher learning but the freshie teacher who taught me had no teaching experience earlier on and had to teach my class Pure Physics. I failed that subject in SPM!

    3. i had my first tuition just before SRP lah, everyone also went to that Kasturi Tution Center in town, so i also followed, kiasu only~~ :D

    6. I had maths tuition for a while when I was on Std 5, preparing for Penilaian Sek Rendah with some Form 6 students who rented houses with my granddad. I hated it. Lasted for a few months only. :-D

Secondary school - no tuition. While a lot of my friends would sometimes go and see teachers who will teach us after school, all I did was follow them and promptly fall asleep! Hahaha

But my secondary school teachers are nice lah. They are all willing to spend their afternoon tutoring us, for free. :-)

But then again, there is pressure at my school. Nobody gets anything less than Grade 1 for SPM. It would be shameful O.O

    7. I remember my mom sent me to home tuition when I was in Primary 4 - I joined Primary 6 Chinese-ed students in BM and BI tuition.

I went to the 'real' tuition center when I was in Form 3, sat for PMR and passed with flying colors :D
