A Whole Lot Of Laundry

When Son returns from his boy scout 3 day 2 night camping trip in Hulu Langat.
So it was shoes washing and clothes soaking after we got home.

Son had a lot of fun camping. His first time and he can't wait to join the "Korobori Pengakap Kanak-Kanak" which should be held in July.

We gave him a bit of grief for not contacting us even once during the camping trip and he was like... "But we can't use our handphone" and we were like "oh, hell... You can SMS us before bedtime" and he was like "I didn't have the time". Hmph!

We suspect that he didn't want his tent-mates to see him calling his parents. Hahaha

He was selected as Pack leader (Ketua Enam Sekawan) so that was nice. A chance for him to learn responsibilities to lead.

Am waiting for his teacher to upload photos from the trip soon, then I'll nick it and flood this blog with them. kekeke

We are so proud of him. Our little boy getting more and more independent as he is growing up.

Hmm... Maybe sending him to boarding school when he enters Form 1 is not a bad idea after all. *evil chuckle*

Nowadays, cannot simply "tegur" people kids' one. Not like last time. Neighbours marah us also our parents don't mind. More often than not, we kena marah again for making them "malu". Right or not?

    1. Kids can survive but us parents have to let them learn do things on their own la. Trust is important.

If we held on to them, fearing the worst, then by no means they can stand on their own and instead will clung to our skirt their whole life.

      That's what I believe la.

  10. Boys should go camping and learn to be independent, and Raimie is one trustable son. But, girls, I don't think I will encourage them to go camping. I myself don't really like camping, I scare of mosquitoes, and I am a fussy sleeper. Especially I must have my blankie with me. lol!

But of course, sure dunwan to bring blankie la. Later kena laugh at pulak.

  14. I am glad that he enjoyed the camp. I heard of tales about parents having to secretly send food, snacks and personal stuffs to their kids at camps! What a rotten parents!
