Saturday Night Fun

Saturday was a busy day for us. Busy, tiring - because of the heat but nice.

Woke up nice and late at 7am ish because Mommy didn't need to do a morning run. Laze around a bit before going out for errands and stuff.

Didn't need to do a morning run because she had plans to join her Krazirunners sistas for a night run together with the "Sabun Group" (don't ask).

The group run was fun. There were lots of drinks and fruits to enjoy. Great camaraderie too. Some of us did 10K, 20K and there're those "otais" who did 50K that night.  For me, I only did 19+km which was 2 loops from PoJ up to PICC then to the roundabout just before the Putra Bridge.

Raimie and his Daddy went running too. They did 3K last night. Isn't it awesome? Next week Raimie will have a family run with Mommy and Daddy at McDonald's Olympic Day Run and the week after that he'll be dashing in the 2.5km kids' dash at Standard Chartered KL Marathon. ^^

After their 3K and waiting for Mommy to finish her 2hrs+ run,
They spent it enjoying the night's air. Raimie even did some doodling that night. No staring at some screen to play games when outdoors.

It was an awesome evening.

Mommy enjoyed it.

Looked like both Daddy and Son did too. Sure beats being cooped up in the house being a couch potato!

And oh yeah,
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all daddies out there.

  4. You got so many gangs of runner friends! Do you remember everyone's names?

    1. Most of them are really well-known in the running circuit. Podium winners. Ultra marathoners. Marathoners.

Even if I met some of them the first time last night, I've already known about them online via FB and runners' blogs.

It was a privilege to meet them last night. ^^

I allow him to play at home only. Or on long journey when he will be sitting down for hours.

    1. He knows it as it has been enforced since he was small. No video games when outdoors. He needs to learn to be patient and entertain himself by other means than electronic games.
