Mad About method And People Against Dirty!

Out of the blue, I received an invitation to attend a tea party by a planet-friendly, design-driven home, fabric and personal care brand; method. Dunno whether you all know about this brand but I've noticed them lined up at the supermarkets shelves lately and one of my friends, Millie uses this product.

I immediately asked Meow whether she's attending the event as she had been promoting this brand to some of us bloggers before.

I also asked a few mommy blogger friends whether they were interested to join me but unfortunately, the Saturday the tea-party was held was a busy day for most of them.
Saturday, 2.00pm at MiCasa was the set time and place. We were late. Horrendously late. Got stuck in a terrible jam all the way from Mines to Jalan Tun Razak! @.@
First thing first. Take photo! HAHAHA
Photo nicked without permission from Meow's photo collection. Thank you Meow! ^^
Then off we go, mingling about and checking out method products displayed. Testing products is fun! Meeting new people is too! Was somehow introduced as "the marathoner" to the people there and the talk turned into marathons, running and the already postponed SCKLM. Adui! So paiseh only. As if I'm like a real veteran marathoner pulak. Hewhewhew
Gotta admit, these method product sure look stylo. Errr I mean, stylish. Not only the packaging look awesome (and I'd have no problem putting them on display instead of just stashing them away under the kitchen sink); they are 100% post consumer resin for cleaning bottles and 50% for laundry bottles. What's post consumer resin, you ask? Simply put - they are made with recycled plastic. :)
Unpaid model, modelling a method product. Bwahaha! He was bitter that he didn't get to join us at the Live Great Run dinner so we dragged him to this event. Sorry for imposition, method!

For those with kids (or those who are health and environment conscious; which should be most of us), rest assured that method products are non-toxic and developed with powergreen technology which harnesses the strength of naturally derived ingredients.

And oh yeah, they are not tested on animals.

Mingle, mingle, talk, talk, laugh, laugh
then, it was time for a bit of presentation.

Here, Mr Ian Samson (an awesomely friendly guy) who is the Director of WMS Marketing, distributor of method in Malaysia talking about method. You can shop for method products online, you know. Convenient, right?
Ms Fiona from Ecocentric Transitions talked about sustainability after that. One of the guests there got a plant as a gift by being the most eco-friendly amongst us all. Sweet! Everyone received seeds of bunga telang (clitoria ternatea, blue-pea) from her. Anyone wants the seed, just tell me wokay?
Then, Ms Julia of Brand 360 Degree's turn. Time to put us to work!

Not work lah. We were given a task to find what products are used in the 7 rooms in the suite. Mad dash! Got leng chais and leng luis in the rooms holding the products, showing us how to use them. Can gatal gatal cuci mata... Cuci only tau! We are talking about cleaning products here, after all. *lame joke* bwahaha
Lepak-lepak with Mama Kucing aka Meow while waiting for others to finish. The smallkucing were in one of the room, with the leng lui che-che and jual minyak urat! HAHAHA

For all the dashing we did earlier, 7 winners were selected for each of the room. Both Zaini and I both got a prize. Wooohoooo!!!! Super like.
Tired already after the dashing about, looking at beautiful people cleaning in the rooms and stuff, it's time for refreshment. Om nom nom.
Miang time not in the program of the day. LOL
and to cover line a bit, they took a "just us lads" photos. heh heh

Overall, we really really had fun at the tea-party. Pity we had to leave early as I had promised someone to join him for an Ultra race presentation or something. *dies* braving another traffic jam.

We used a few products that we received and I must say, we are loving method already! Smell great too. I really do feel posh using method product. ^_~

Time for us to clean-up on the way we clean.

I'm planning to pass a few bottles to a couple of my friends too (you know who you are) ^^ I just wish I have more to go around, to spread the word on this brand.
