Seventh Day of Ramadan. My Name Is Islam

A good reminder to self.

An insight for others to Islam. Do watch the 4 minutes video. I promise it is not preachy. It's not fuddy-duddy either.

I admit I'm not a good Muslim. I am very much lacking.

But hopefully, I am getting there. The first step towards that is realising it.

And of course, be a better person and human being.

To err is human.
To forgive, divine.

We commit sins and make mistakes.

But strive to be better we must.
And learn from our past.

I've still got a long way to go. :(

Maaf zahir batin.  Forgive me of what wrong I've done to you whether physically or emotionally. We shouldn't restrict this to Hari Raya only. ;-)

I felt the serenity and tranquility the most during this holy month too... Inilah masanya untuk mengeratkab tali silaturahim sesama kita d samping saling bermaafan sesama kita... Maaf Zahir Batin Sis! ;)

  6. haha, interesting.. the video is more like a hip-hop star rapping a song of hers!! though it's kind of difficult to catch what she's trying to say at the beginning, it gets better and gives us a view of what the religion is all about.. :)

  7. the photo on high-way code.. errr, but i am rather curious why does that only apply to the holy month of ramadhan?? i would say it's a good code of etiquette to be observed and practice all the time..

    1. Thank you SK for taking the time to watch the clip and reading the code.

Yes, the code should be practised all year round. Religion is a way of life and shouldn't be viewed as a fad. ;-)

  8. of course i believe that every religion out there is asking their followers to be good, learn from mistakes and to forgive.. and this is always one long journey for us to learn, maaf zahir batin, yes i agree we shouldn't limit this to only Ramadhan.. :)

    2. Everyday I have to tell Letchumy this as she has daily headaches with adult students. I always tell her to be strong and firm when facing fellow human beings who lack of wisdom.

    3. Anay is wise. :-)

I'm sure Letchumi is well equipped to deal with any kind of students, with her background, knowledge and qualification. :-)
