A "method" Way Through My Laundry Pile

Laundries.

Piles and piles of it.

Bedsheets.

Towels.

The kiddo's clothes.

The parents'.

The sweaty running/workout gears.

Ugh.

What is your preferred choice for your washing up? Your laundry detergents, I mean. Powder, liquid?

I don't really prefer the liquid ones because I feel it's messy to pour them into their caps and then pour into the washing machine.

So previously, I used mostly the powder type.

Both are actually fine, but don't you feel that putting the detergent in the cap/scoop; there's this tendency for us to overuse the laundry detergent? In this case, actually more is not better because overuse of them is bad for our clothes, our skin, our planet and not to mention making us spend more too!
A precise four pumps with method laundry detergent or vague scooping with another brand washing powder? That method laundry detergent bottle I was holding washes to 50 load, y'all!

Four squirts for an astonishingly clean clothes (or whatever you put in the washing machine). Just four squirts because it's  8 times ultra concentrated formula. Woohoo!
The method fabric softener pretty awesome too. Again, that's good for 50 loads.

Squirting means bye-bye to messy jugs. Or spilled detergent. So you can even  ask your toddler to squirt them for you. (provided they know how to count to four lah! hehehe)

Just gotta love the compact and lightweight packaging. Easier to stash away too.
method laundry detergent and fabric softener leaves a fresh smelling clothes.
Never ending pile to fold.

If only folding is as easy as washing. Huhuhu

By the way, this post is a part of a project with method called 3H (Happy, Healthy Homes) project. Check out my previous posts on some of method's products :

Oh yeah, if you wish to purchase method products, you can do so at most big supermarkets in KL. Or, buy it online here.

Happy method"ing" y'all. Hehehe

  4. I use whatever I find at the local konbini, i.e. always powder. :)

Do you guys use washing machines with hot water? That was standard practice in SA, but here in Japan most machines seem to do cold water only.

  5. I mostly use powder detergent and sometimes I will mix half cup of liquid detergent to half scoop of powder. Dont ask me why but it has been my habit.

    I seldom use softerner.

I never leave folding long so must fold after bring in dry laundry.

  9. yeah, i gotta agree with you that pouring or scooping the detergent or powder and then place them into the washing machine can be a mess.. with that we actually have no idea exactly how much to use, it's all by experience i guess.. once the cap or scoop size changes, or when a new washing machine is used - we are confused again and gotta start all over again experimenting how much to use..

    1. i've seen from youtube that there is a way to fold your clothes in less than 5 seconds.. i always wanted to learn to do that, but then, aih, seems i can never do that.. rather take my own sweet time and do it the conventional way~~

    2. I also like to take my time. Usually best to fold clothes while watching a riveting drama. LOL

  12. I used the same brand of washing powder that my Mom used, too lazy to read and learn about other brands. I don't think Method products are sold in SG.

    1. I remember my grandma used Sabun Cap Buruh. The yellow cube ones.

Wonder whether it is sold that way now. ;)

  13. I prefer the liquid type sebab powder detergent clumps in the detergent compartment & selalunya ada je balance kat dalam tu. I like it that method takde kena tuang dlm bottle cap ke apa...sebab nanti kita nak kena bilas la cap tu or ada meleleh leleh la....#masalahdonia

    1. Pump, not squirt. Haha. Kompius sudah dengan my squirt & mop cleaner :P

    2. Aaaa... & sesuka use squirts to mention "pumping" alala

Ye, saya pun sangat suka the fact yang kita takyah bilas apa-apa lepas pump. ;)
