Light Dinner

Of late, I don't really eat heavy dinners. Not that I'm dieting or anything but just that I don't really feel that hungry to eat full dinner.

Which is, in a way; good. I guess.

After all, there's the saying "Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, dinner like a pauper". ^^

Not that I breakfast like a king. It's usually a handful of nuts and a cup of neslo. A copious amount of warm water. Lunch will be heavier though sometimes if I'm too darn lazy to go down; an apple (or whatever fruits I have stashed at my desk).
Tonight's dinner.

For me.

The boys had fried chicken instead. Heavily spiced (not from the fast food outlet, yeah) fried chicken.

No rice.

Burp.

p.s. I've been hankering for a banana leaf meal though. Tried to coax the boys for a banana leaf dinner on Friday night but no takers. Boo!

    6. why everyone seems to associate a light meal with its amount and serving?? to me, light means the food are far away from being salty, oily, sweet and with lots of additives etc.. it doesn't necessary have to be little, i need to eat a lot to have enough energy for my daily consumption - hence, a big bowl load of salad (minus the dressing of course) is still considered light to me..

p/s: probably a bowl of kampua plus piansip with kopi-peng is very heavy for me, hahaha!! :D

I know about the saying "Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, dinner like a pauper" but I'm the exact opposite unfortunately - my dinner is the heaviest... :|

    1. Dunno la

But good also not to be hungry all the time. :P

  14. I don't believe in eating breakfast like a king, or dinner like a pauper. My breakfast is usually quite light (used to be just fruits but now replaced with porridge), lunch is moderate and dinner is as much as lunch cos I can't go to sleep hungry! LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  15. I try to eat 6 meals a day instead of the usual 3. But smaller meals lah, of course. Naturally lunch and dinner will be the most heavy for me. No wonder I wanna nap in the afternoon! LOL!

    1. I know it's good to curb eating a lot with smaller meals. But then, working in an office environment, a bit susah also to eat 6 small meals.

Not professional la, to be eating and muching during office hours. Unless the meals are snacks like fruits or nuts.
