Love Them Miniatures

Those free hotel toiletries freebies, I mean.

But not all are created equal.

Sometimes you go to a nice, purportedly 5-star hotel and get... their generic toiletries with shampoo that smells like Vosene. Oh hell, do they still sell Vosene here now? Haven't seen one in like... ages!!!

Then you go to a 3-star hotel and get a really nice ones. I like The Everly Putrajaya's toiletries. Classy for a 3-star hotel wor...
Some of the collection, carted from various hotels around Asia. :P
These definitely helps for short trips - when we're staying at the company's apartment or homestay and definitely good if we shower at public shower or toilet (like the one near Lake Garden or around Putrajaya) after our jog/run or after all the horsing around in theme parks like Sunway Lagoon or Desa Waterpark too.

The hotel toiletries helps to cover for the in-between time when I forgot to buy bodywash/shampoo/conditioner too!

That reminds me, I need to buy some for FIL's house for my son's use. Gah, I am so forgetful.

p.s. Wish Nikko Hotel in Yokohama provides miniatures instead of one of those normal size kit.  A huge ass bottle of Shiseido shampoo and conditioner. I don't have a heart to cart away normal sized amenities. I like to think I'm not that kiasu! LOL

Though it was nice that we got those Salvatore Ferragamo toiletries as a welcome pack from the one in Ginza. :-)

  3. yes, they do look nice. Sometimes the hotel encourages people to take away the miniatures like in the case of the hotels oversea.

    1. But some more concerned on wastage and being eco-friendly have decided to do away with miniatures.

  4. Onsen also have those "huge ass" quote unquote :D bottles, but it's in a public bathing area where everybody is butt naked, so you'd be a bit conspicuous if you tried to steal it.

The best toiletries are at love hotels. ^^
