Running Shoes, Just A Click Away?

Hamaigad!!! Omaigad! O. M. Geee!!!!

I need a pair of new running shoes! Badly!
Just look at the state of my beloved blood red Adidas shoes.

I've taken it for like 6 half-marathons and a full marathon and countless long runs.

My Nike LunarGlide+ 2 also has seen better days. The LunarGlide took me to my 10K PB (that's personal best timing for the un-initiated) once upon a time and to a surprise 10th place position. (sigh... I am getting much much much slower now). I had it since 2012! That's a long time in Lina's shoes lifespan, you know. I have since replaced my Glycerin 9 twice. Used till "haus" my PureFlow too. Oh dear

There were ongoing sales and warehouse sales at some sports stores but I haven't got the time to go to any. Huhuhu

The other options for me to consider I guess, would be to look at the shoes online instead. Great if I know what I'm looking for. Much greater if should anything not fit right, I can return them for free for a full refund. I like risk-free, no-hassle shopping. Who wouldn't? Like Like Like. Like, some more? ekeke

I decided to check out Zalora's online shopping's website for just a look-see look-see. Oh hey! Surprise surprise! Zalora even have a sports section and a sub-section for running. Me loike it more!
Just looking at this page, I feel like opening a Pandora Box. Oh My Credit Card! LOL

I should be looking at shoes, but I got distracted by these...
Adoi.

Focus Focus

Oh drool..

Hubby wears a Nike Free. His is a Nike Free 2 though. Lasted long. But also due for a replacement soon. Son also used to own a Nike Free. Maybe I could try one. I mean, buy Nike shoes from Zalora Malaysia.
and see how it goes.

Yeah? Nay?

Zalora Malaysia may just get a new rabid customer. Habislah duit I. HAHAHA

  2. OMY Gawd! Look at your poor shoes! So teruk like crocodile mouthed became Ikan Masin, the Chinese would always say. Why on earth your hubby didn't get you a new replacement or spare at the slightest sign old shoes aging & cracks? Let me meet him ASAP!

  3. I am impressed with their online catalogue. It seems that I would also prefer to shop online rather than masuk kedai and pening kepala to see too many pattern & designs until I had to walk out. This happened to me many times as my head was spinning instead and could not decide which one to buy. Shopping online will become a trend like how the Americans had done since the early 90s! The cost would be cheaper with no overheads to slaughter the customers. Wise choice you made!

  4. I was also impressed with the Tees from the catalogue. The way they displayed them with busty look makes you picture better when worn. When we masuk kedai again, all hanging on hangers or flat on the shelves, not easy to visualize la how handsome Anay would become. Now you have convinced me the reasons people shop online. I think I would loose myself shopping in the websites. Habis lah you and I swiped cards tak Berhenti-Henti....

  5. What would you do with your old shoes? Usually my friends would give them to their pet dogs to chew and play them as toys! Muahahahaha Only anjing bodoh would play and not cats!

    1. Sports outlets sometimes collect them for charity drive or promo. The still good ones can be donated. I have running friends who do it, and pass the shoes to either orphanage or orang asli. The only condition is that the shoes are still relatively in good condition. And oh yeah, clean. ;-)

    2. Ooo can ah...I didn't know. ..opps on the clean part. ..masuk washing machine la

  9. I hated to shopping for shoes, even for running shoes especially they are so expansive nowadays. And you will needed few runs to see if the shoes fit. That's why I only stick to one brand and type (VFF Komodo Sport), stop trying new shoes for a while now.

Good luck on the online shopping.

    1. Safer options for you, eh?

I know I need at least size US9.5 for Nike shoes. US9 for other brands. I have HUGE feet!

      So was the transaction satisfactory?

  11. so nice you've got reasons to buy yourself another pair of new shoes!! for me, I just grabbed a tube of "Contact Grip" at RM2.50 from Jusco and start applying them to "seal" the "openings" of my worn out shoes.. :D

  12. for clothes or shoes I think I probably will go to the shop to try them on.. but if it's the same brand and model, I think getting them online and have them delivered right at my doorstep would be nice also.. plus online shopping usually comes with discounts so the price may not be more expensive than the retail..

    1. I get stressed out shopping for clothes at shop. LOL

If know the brand and the baju, can easily buy online instead of going to the mall. No need to gt stuck in jam. hihihi

    2. yes very true!!! I can get stressed out especially if there is a sales assistant with very "excellent customer service" that keeps following and offering help.. I would probably just walk away because I actually prefer to take my own private sweet time in browsing.. :p

    3. That you are right!

I really hate those very good sales people who will adjust everything I touch. Adoi.

Or those who keeps on suggesting things to me. Cannot stand that also.

We are so hard to please la. LOL

    4. adjust everything right after I touched!! I hate those, it's so rude to do that!! since they like to do that, perhaps we should make things even messier so they have enough to do to pass their time huh?? :p

    5. If I'm in a bad mood, I'd turn around and ask the staff whether I should not be in the shop instead. Hihihi
