A Japanese Treat

Cashed out my Nuffnang earnings of the past six months and decided to have a nice makan at our favourite Japanese place. The one in Bandar Baru Bangi. Miyagi.

This particular restaurant brings quite a number of traffic to this blog, by the way. With search keywords : "Is Miyagi Restaurant in Bangi Halal?" and similar. What does "Jalan-jalan cari makan" TV program said when it visited this place?

The restaurant has sure seen more Malay Muslim clientele ever since it got featured in "Jalan-jalan cari makan".

Nothing fancy for our dinner when we visited Miyagi last Sunday. Choosing simply from the teishoku selection or set meal. It's not as if I'm earning thousands from Nuffnang. Hu~
Mommy had a hankering for udon but instead of zaru-udon which would be nice on a hot day like we're having right now, she had nabe udon. With tuna don. Fighting heat with heat. *sweating!*

But the shop ran out of tuna during dinner time that day so Mommy said it was OK to have salmon don instead.
Son had the curry set. A big portion of the chicken katsu curry rice, miso soup, chawan mushi, salad and the tsukemono served was - kimchi and fruits. There's dessert too!

Son didn't want his so Mommy gleefully helped to finish it. ^^

Daddy had the teppan beef set. No photo since it had been taken countless times. hewhewhew

We had a bit of laugh when a bunch of girls (in their twenties) who sat next to our table paid their bill, got up and said aloud "itadakimasu!". It was just that we were surprised to hear it said after a meal instead of before that we laughed without thinking. Sorry girls, we didn't mean any malice but it was too damn funny!

Good that the girls have the initiative to ermmm... say Japanese words but there's a saying, sometimes a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing. Especially when one wants to show-off.

Anyway, decided to take out all Nuffnang ads from the blogs at the moment. So no Nuffnang ads for me for now!

Any advertisers want to buy ad space? *self-promotion sikit* HAHAHA

any advertisers want to buy ad space on my blog?? muahahaha~~

  10. aiyoh, i love the curry rice lah, in fact i love how much potatoes and carrots they gave!! many places just that pathetic two pieces given, but i think i actually love the veggie more than the meat when it comes to curry.. the veggie sure absorb more of the curry and are more flavorful to go with rice.. next time maybe i can try veggie curry rice huh?? got such things ke??
