Bargain Hoarder

Hard to resist a bargain even if (or if its) in the bargain bin especially since the items are still in good condition.

If a retailer sells something cheap but it's not in a good condition or it's already expired then the retailer is being irresponsible and must be reported.

But there are good retailers, selling items cheap, very cheap... months before its "Best Before" date. I LOIKE.

And if I'll probably hoard some for stock if they happen to be the stuff I use.

Like this powder Gatorade. Bought only two bottles though as it's Best Before April 2014.

I've "borong"ed a carton of RM1.50 Gatorade earlier and a few at RM1.00 too. Long time to expire at they are Best Before 30/6/14.

Always am a lookout for bargains, me! ^^

  1. It is really worth it to buy it when it is a bargain. Yeah just like you said, it is still in good condition. I agreed with that. As long as it is not expired ( we still have a few months for us to consume). Just like I buy butter for my bakings.

    1. If it's not safe, then it's our duty as consumers to make sure it's taken off the shelf!

    1. Did you complain?

As I said, not many retailers are responsible about their near expired products. We consumers have to be smart, right?

I only trust a couple of them to buy bargain items.

  5. but second thought, expiry date on 21/04/2014.. i don't actually consume that much lah, that means i have to force myself to consume that everyday for the sake of getting it done by the expiry date.. and actually for RM14.99 i didn't really want to fork that out lah, maybe i'd just happily get a bottle from that "1 tin = RM1" machine at RM2 when i feel like drinking any :)

For me, a tub can habis in one month, easy. Plus I have no qualms consuming it after the date. Muahaha

  10. I think Guardian will start their Warehouse Sales again this week at One Utama. Sometimes they would clear funny items from other planets that caught my eyes!
