Sunday Musings

Sigh...

What can I say?

Glad for a reprieve from it.

Like a really hot and sunny Saturday.

Woke up to the haze again on Sunday morning.
Dang! Ugh...

Was glad to welcome rain around 10am and get this
In the meantime, everyone take care. Hydrate well in this hot, hazy season.

We checked-in to The Everly, Putrajaya during the weekend. It's the hotel where press centre, families and relatives of the missing #MH370 are housed.
The press was stationed there, waiting at the lobby for the news and updates of the missing #MH370. A sombre reminder about what had happened and gripped the whole nation, if not the world. #PrayforMH370

Take care everyone!

  4. Just to say I arrived here via Google+. The aircraft story is ... words fail the ex-journalist. The NSA can monitor our emails, but can't tell us what happened to an aircraft? Strange world.

    1. The reporters didn't "disturb" anyone and stayed within the press perimeter.

Other than seeing them at the lobby, the hotel was normal. Staff were quite friendly and efficient too and I think the hotel made effort to get more staff to cater for the deluge of people there.

    2. hmmm, great to hear that families of the MH370 passengers and crew are guarded off from any unnecessary disturbance.. :)

    3. Yup, from my one day observation there; no media circus.

      Our press are civil. ;)

Hope the families of both the passengers and crew of MH370 will get news soon.

  10. It has been raining heavily and I drove scarily in the watery highways. We need another 2 days of heavy downpour to bring our water reservoirs to safe level again. I wished it would only rain when we are asleep! As if I could choose........
