@Grills In Bangi

So the boy, the junior one that is wanted to eat some steak for dinner on Labour Day. I was the one doing a 3 hour run on Thursday and he was the one insisting on some protein loading. LOL
Anyway, decided to check out a western outlet in Bandar Baru Bangi called @Grills. I remembered my #krazirunners gang went there once for a gathering and recommended it so off we went...
We started with cream of wild mushroom soup. Thick, creamy and very strong flavoured mushrooms bits. RM11.00 and it's a big portion. Good thing we shared this instead of me having it alone.
The boy who wanted to eat steak had this - @Grills beef ribs.
His Mommy chose to eat lamb chop. Good thing she didn't order salad too otherwise, she'd have problem finishing this! Ample portion. Nicely grilled with crispy, charred bits for added texture. Mommy likey. ^^
Daddy had a burger. Chunk of cheese on a chunk of patty! Wow!

Food wise, pretty decent. Price was OK too.

I just have one beef (heh!) with the drink served - flat coke. Blergh.

RM120 for dinner for three. Not bad lah. Bolehlah...

@Grills is located behind Pappa Rich in Bandar Baru Bangi and is a corner lot outlet, if you plan to look for it. ^^

  2. okaylah, bolehlah.. once in a while go for something special and slightly more expensive to pamper yourself and for a nice bonding mah.. i don't see any problem with that, so don't feel guilty lah.. the happiness is worth infinity times more than that RM120 you paid.. errr, wait, is there such thing call "infinity times"?? haha..

  3. while the dishes look great, i must also give compliments on the presentation.. the chef "signed off" with the name of the restaurant on the plate, that's kind of cool, and what's more impressive is that, the "signature" were so consistent they look almost the same (now Mak Glam must learn that so that she has no problem with signing her cheques).. and that "strawberry" made from tomato and peas, i guess, looks so cute and nice too!!

  13. The bill was just reasonable but I need to match with the interiors and services always. I am always pleased with Tony Romas for their portions, quality and services so the price makes me happy even though high.
