Neighbourhood Rojak And Cendol

There's this one corner lot house in Tmn Sungai Besi Indah that sells rather nice rojak and cendol. Not as nice as the Ansari Cendol I had after running in the King of Bukit Larut event last month, but pretty decent lah...
Opens daily from 11.30am to 6.30pm.

We occasionally eat here for a quick lunch or tea-time snack.
Almost full house!

Went there yesterday for a late lunch... was a tad hungry at 2.30pm but didn't really want to eat a lot and didn't want to cook lunch so decided to eat rojak and enjoy cendol instead. Hihihi
Burp...

Just rojak mee this time, didn't order rojak sotong. That one cost more. ;-)

Anyway, the price list :
Rather than drink a RM2 sirap bandung, might as well up a bit and order cendol right? Hahaha

Maybe Meow can try when BBWS is back to Mines. :-)

  11. I often wondered why the Rojak Sellers have to sell Chendol at the same time. I wonder who started this trend?

  18. Rojak is a fruit and vegetable salad dish? Ooo.
Cendol is described in Wikipedia as a "green worm-like jelly". Err ...

    1. That's fruit rojak.

The one I had "contains fried dough fritters, bean curds, boiled potatoes, prawn fritters, hard boiled eggs, bean sprouts and cucumber mixed with a thick, spicy peanut sauce".

Cendol - that's a description to make kids get intrigues of it! LOL
It's short strands of cooked dough made with green pea flour and the green juice of pandan leaves served with shaved ice and plenty of fresh santan (coconut cream) and gula melaka (palm sugar) ^^
