Saturday Movie Date : How To Train Your Dragon 2

Thanks to the awesome people of The Butterfly Project - Beauty Bloggers, we (me, hubby, son and even one of my sis) managed to set a weekend movie date and watch "How To Train Your Dragon 2". All for free! With drinks and popcorn too! Thank youuuu!!! *muaks*
The movie screening was at 10.45am on Saturday but we got there bright and early at 9.00 something. Mommy decided she wants to keipoh keipoh at the Butterflies' registration/ticket collection table too.
Mommy and her new friends at the ticket collection table. ^^

While Mommy was busy keipoh'ing, the rest got busy too - taking photos! Hahaha
With Daddy, who came but left early because he needed to rush elsewhere afterwards.
Son with his aunty. Arms laden with free soft drinks and popcorns. ^^

Mommy got in the movie hall a bit late so the rest went in first to enjoy the movie. Mommy missed out the first 15 minute of the movie so guess we just have to watch it another time to know the start of the movie, yeah? LOL

The movie was really enjoyable. There were numerous light moments that drew out laughter from the audience, there were poignant moments that made eyes misty, there were moments filled with suspense yet nothing too heavy or dramatic. A good movie for someone who just wants to enjoy a movie and escape, while being served with beautiful and visually astounding movie.

By the way, the paragraph above are all mine and not copied for any movie review anywhere (I never bother reading movie review anyway). OKAY?

This one is however copied :
The song that Hiccup's Dad sang to his Mom. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww x 1000 times

I’ll swim and sail on savage seas
With ne’er a fear of drowning,
And gladly ride the waves of life
If you will marry me.

No scorching sun,
Nor freezing cold,
Will stop me on my journey,
If you will promise me your heart
And love me for eternity.

My Dearest One, My Darling Dear,
Your mighty words astound me;
But I’ve no need of mighty deeds,
When I feel your arms around me.

But I will bring you rings of gold,
And even sing you poetry,
And I would keep you from all harm
If you would stay beside me.

I have no use for rings of gold,
I care not for your poetry,
I only want your hand to hold,
I only want you near me.

To love and kiss, to sweetly hold,
For the dancing and the dreaming.
Through all my sorrows and all nights,
I’ll keep your love inside me.

I’ll swim and sail on savage seas
With ne’er a fear of drowning,
And gladly ride the waves of life
If you will marry me! I’ll swim and sail on savage seas
With ne’er a fear of drowning,
And gladly ride the waves of life
If you will marry me.

It's enough for one for fall in love with Stoick! Bwahaha (Falling in love with Gerard Butler works too *wink wink*)

  4. yeah, entertaining movie and nice to watch.. however, got me a couple of second to try to link up the first installment.. like i've forgotten Hiccup lost one of his legs.. and this sequel tends to be more ambitious by telling a "world peace" message to the audience.. and some part i think it actually "is paying credit to" Avatar?? :p

  5. muahahahaha!! of course we knew Mak Glam never just copy & paste from other sources, unless she is paid to do so.. and even if she did copy & paste anything from other sources, she always give credit to the sources and never claim that as her own work.. now, plagiarism is not your style we know, we all respect the intellectual properties and especially the effort of others right?? :)

    1. to add on..

some may think they don't copy bulat-bulat everything but extracted few sentences here and there from the article to form something that may look different, so that is actually not considered plagiarism.. but still?? those words and ideas did not come from you right?? tsk tsk tsk..
