Second Best Thing

been craving for durians for quite a bit.

Friends going for makan and posting them on blogs, FBs, instagram and even whatsapp are certainly not helping.

Still yet to indulge eating them but hubby got these home...
my second best thing - mangosteen!

At least this won't stink up the car!

Must go find some durians to eat on the spot. :P

      There is a saying of sorts that goes : Durian is the King and Mangosteen is the Queen.

      They work well together as a balancing act. Ying and yang. Heat and cooling.

  4. durians?? errr, sure i will say "No, thank you" (quote STP the Food Mayor of Sibu) but then mangosteen anytime for me!!

    and hey, this reminds me of Claire's post lah.. she ate too much mangosteeen one go and then kena masuk angin.. hmmm, better eat moderately huh i guess?? :)

    so you are going to those all you can eat durian buffet stalls and indulge yourself with all the greatest musang king and D24?? remember to have some mangosteen as "desserts"~~ :D

  9. On/off will still see durian in frozen section or the cold section but never mangosteen.
    Mangosteen is exotic fruit here! :P

      I once saw a single mangosteen being sold at 100yen a piece. Wow

  11. Next time bring a tupperware container to durian stall. Ask the to Fill it Up...muhahaha. last week I just bought...rm20....two tubs...no stinky car
