Thai Food For Lunch

A rather simple Thai food lunch with colleagues last week...

At Amarin Heavenly Thai in Mid Valley.

Long time haven't been there already.

Took some photo but after we started eating, I actually kinda forgot to take a few too. Busy eating lah! LOL
The starter - we ordered the combo platter. Love this!

We wanted to order the Mieng Kam too but the manager told us it's not available due to rainy season. No daun kaduk stock during rainy season?
Thai green curry with fishball. Not the usual off-the-shelves fishball la. The fishball is nice, even had a bit of salted egg as a filling.

Not really a fan of this though. I think I prefer the chicken version better.
Of course must eat tomyam - and this one, seafood punya. Halfway eaten, only remember to take photo but still wanna take! Muahaha
Stir fried duck. Quite nice and tender, It was a first time experience of eating duck for a few of my colleagues.
To end the lunch, red ruby! Refreshing!

Burp.

They don't have all the credit card/AEON/company discounts like they used to anymore, but they "sell" membership card for RM15 (can't remember how long it's valid for) and it entitles us for a 10% discount.

Last time better, can get more discount wih CIMB card. Huhuhu

  3. I love this restaurant and to me, they have one of the best Thai food in Malaysia!
The price is not cheap but worth the taste! I have only been there 3 times.

I just had Mieng Kam last night with my parents. My sister made them and it tasted like @#%@*. In the heavy rain storm, she suddenly asked me pluck all my daun kaduk from my garden!! I didn't know that rainy seasons affect the growth. It is so true and I grow them with special fencing! Later I show you the photo.

    2. Anyway, thank you SK for being understanding.

Yeah... I am certainly not a food blogger.

I find it better to talk about the experience but hey! Once in a while, mix things up a bit and change so not to bore readers. Right? ;)
