Of Passports and A Clinic. Running Clinic

Zaini and I finally went to renew our passport which, had expired like years ago; and went to Menara Ikhlas in Putrajaya on Saturday to do it.

Arrived at around 7.30am and there was already a long queue forming.
We got number 075 & 076 and estimating that it won't be any time soon for our numbers to be called, we decided to go out jalan-jalan for a bit.

Actually, we went to the nearby Taman Seri Empangan and kepoh-kepoh at an ultra marathon running clinic there.
The ultra marathon, called Putrajaya 100 miles (P100) will be held from Nov 22 - 23, 2014. There are a few distances : 52K, 78K, 100K and 160K.

Both Zaini and I will be helping out and volunteering at this event instead of running in it. I had thought of joining but  decided it won't be advisable as I have a full marathon the week after P100.

Stayed there for a bit, listening to the advices and tips given by Arman, from PACa Adventure Team. This clinic covered hydration and fueling.

There will be another clinic next week and it'll be on the route review and handling of night run. More info on the clinics - click here.

Got back to the Immigration office after staying at the clinic for half an hour and saw the number already moved up to 053.

Three hours from the time Immigration office opens, we got our brand new passports. Yeay!

Our evening was spent in Putrajaya again as I ran with Son at the MAKNA Founder's Run. The race recap link here.

Sunday was a bit more relaxed, I guess as we just have one thing to do and that's joining the SJMC Run. Oh yeah, and Mommy had a haircut. Hihi

  1. I renewed mine online and then went to the Immigration at Jalan Duta..

thot can get it immediately, but still have to wait for an hour.. though the queue for online application was so much shorter, almost no people queuing..

  7. 3-hr wait isn't too bad. I would've thought you'll need to wait more than that since you're didn't apply online.

    1. It takes one hour from the moment we paid for it to getting it. Slowest is one hour, that's the KPI. ^^
