Let's Run For National Unity On Malaysia Day

HELP University and Malay Mail will be organising the RUN for NATIONAL UNITY 2016 on Sept 16, 2016 in conjunction with Malaysia Day.

The inaugural Run will begin from 7.30am on Sept 16 from Padang Merbok in Kuala Lumpur.

The Run is being held not only to promote national unity and harmony but also to raise funds for deserving students to pursue their tertiary education.

All nett proceeds from the Run will be channeled to a scholarship fund for these students from all races.

The fun Run will be in held in six (6) categories:

•Men’s Open: 7km
•Women’s Open: 7km
•Muhibbah Group (4 adults in a group comprising at least 1 Malay, 1 Chinese and 1 Indian): 5km
•Family Participation (2 adults, and 1 to 3 children): 5km
•Corporate Team (4 runners per team): 5km
•Special category (OKU): 3km

The Run will be conducted under the rules and regulations of the Malaysian Athletics Federations (MAF) while the technical support will be provided by the Federal Territory Amateur Athletic Association (FTKLAA).
Being a fun Run, all finishers will receive medals and certificates at the Finish Line. Light refreshments will also be served.
Besides getting a T-shirt and goodie bag, participants also stand to win attractive lucky draw prizes after the Run.

There will also be plenty of entertainment and other activities at Padang Merbok after the Run, including stage performances.

The operating hours for walk-in registration are 10am-5pm from Monday to Friday, and 10am-1pm on Saturday.
