There's this one makan place located at a corner lot of a house near our home that we like to frequent whenever we want to enjoy steamed fish (they do make a mean ikan siakap steam with asam boi).
It's a very unpretentious place but the price there is a quite a premium (but food is good) compared to other places around our area but we still like to go there because the food is sedap lah.
Anyhoo, after Raya holiday which they were closed for two weeks, they are open again and came up with a new menu. One that I really love! Now they have somtam & mango kerabu in their menu! Yeay!
The somtam is good and although it was really spicy, it was just enough heat to tantalise us but not really hurt the tummy. Hahaha
Sedap and for only RM5.00 for a portion for two.
Hubby and I also ordered another new menu there, Nasi Kerabu with daging goreng. It came with a generous rice serving, topped with ulam and sambal kerisik, salted egg and keropok. Good deal for us at RM8.00 per plate.
The portion was big, I had to ask Hubby to finish my plate.
The place is located next to Taman Sg Besi Indah's Alliance Bank and behind Petronas Station.
Next time we come and eat here, I am so gonna order their kerabu mangga pulak although their somtam also memang sedap.
