Daddy's Treat

Daddy said he has yet treat us after getting his bonus last month (he did actually, but who am I to argue when someone is feeling generous. hihi) and wanted to take us out for dinner.

Can't decide where to go so in the end we just head to TGIF for our dinner. I don't mind. ^^
Raimie and his fish & fries
Daddy had a steak. A huge Tennessee steak. Yumm!
Mommy decided to have ribs. Tennesee ribs, they are called. Mommy's verdict? Better go to Tony Roma's if Mommy wants to eat good ribs, especially now that they are having their RM99.90 ribs promotion again.
For dessert, we all shared these.

Another treat from Daddy on Sunday and this one for Mommy. He accompanied Mommy on her long run. We took a drive to Putrajaya and instead the usual straight route from Masjid Putra up to PICC hill and back, Mommy ran by the lakeside and Daddy cycled.

With such great company and running at really gossip pace (Mommy had fun talking an d laughing during the run), it would've been great if Mommy can cover more distance but the sun was way too hot on Sunday morning and Mommy had to concede defeat after just making 3/4 of a loop. A mere 13K and then, we walked for another 4K back to our car.

Thanks to Daddy, we had a great weekend. Looking forward to the next! :)

  1. Don't runners carbo-load instead of protein-load? :D

Running and cycling together! Awww. How do I add a little heart in my comment? Let me try this ...

    1. Yeah, it should totally be carbo-loading session but I wasn't in the mood to eat pasta. xD

I am very much a meat eater, myself. ;p

Cycling slowly just so I can keep up with him - that's gotta be some compromise for Zaini. I bet it's so boring to cycle that slow!

  16. I had TGIF once and got shocked by the portion per serving. I couldn't finish, not even half and so did my hubb. We are all small eaters, thus we dare not return there.

    1. I like Tonyo Roma's kids' menu the best. Free only on Monday-Wednesday but they are sure worthwhile to come on that day only. Raimie always get the ribs. Three ribs for that boy! Plus dessert too! :)

  18. I'm not very into western food... more to Asian ones - Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese and I love Japanese the most :D

  19. Any celebration, will be going to Japanese restaurant XD

My hubb is so scared of asking me and his daughter where to eat, as our reply would be "Sushi!". He's so jelak already.

    1. Interestingly enough, for us - if we go Japanese, it's most probably won't be sushi. Maybe sushi for Raimie but Zaini and I would choose something else to eat. ;p

Haven't been eating Japanese food for months now! I'm such a snob nowadays, I only like Japanese food that I had during my two-weeks, once a year vacation. hihi

    2. You have become SO Japanese! "The best Japanese food ... as a matter of fact, the only real authentic Japanese food ... is the Japanese food in Japan." Muekeke!

    3. I'm a food snob when it comes to Japanese food! Turning up my nose at mediocre Japanese fare available here. huhuhu

    1. Yeah. American outlets sure have super big portions! We always share them because otherwise it'll be hard to finish them!
