Distraction

If you noticed, I haven't been maniacally updating my two blogs regularly lately. I usually wouldn't let either one un-updated more than two days!

The two main reasons for my distraction aren't so much work related (I think I am more prolific when I'm busy because I need a way to de-stress and that's by writing nonsense) but these:
As with all the Korean dramas that I've  been obsessed with in the past, I don't only watch this drama; titled Rooftop Prince obsessively, I also read the episodes recaps over and over. Thank you to Dramabeans for the recaps!

I don't know what it is, but "sageuk" rom-com dramas are my absolute favourite! Cute guys with absolutely "jjang" body doesn't hurt either. Heh
Then, I got a bit side-tracked from watching Rooftop Prince over and over because I have these two books to read. Got it secondhand, from a friend of Jamie's.

Don't know when things will be back to normal. Soon, I hope. Now shoo. I need to be distracted some more.

  1. So ... I'm not allowed to distract you with a comment? I'll leave you in peace. Soon I'll be reading my own book (wonder what it could be?) and going shoo! ^^

I thought you are always distracted with books? No? ;p

    2. Yes, but ... some books are about funky words, so they're extra distracting! ^^

  2. That is Korean drama? At one glance, I thought it was Chinese drama. Their costumes are quite similar to those China Dynasty.

    1. Well, they do have similarities and differences.

They are neighbours after all. "Hanja" the written language is also borrowed and adapted from "Hanzi".

Confucius' philosophy is also followed Koreans.

So, no surprise if there are similarities, right? :)

    2. p.s. can't even understand what I typed, now that I re-read the comment above. It's a case, brain work faster than fingers able to accomodate. kakaka

I mean to say that China & Korean have similarities since they are neighbours. Also, since the Chinese dynasty was looked up by the Korean dynasty of yesteryears, it is inevitable things look similar, right?

But I always find it interesting that, despite the two forces that influenced Korea (China & Japan), their food is amazingly different. Don't you agree? ^^

  3. I know why you are obsessed with the drama, I would be, too, blame it to the handsome actors. They look so smart in that traditional wear.

    1. I really like Yoochun.

He used to be in Dongbangshinki/Tohoshinki/TVXQ group (depending whether you use the Korean/Japanese/Int band name) then it split and now he's in JYJ.

      I love his voice!!!
