Start Of The Day
I don't normally have a big breakfast on weekdays, but I'll opt for a heavy breakfast on weekends with Hubby and Son. I'm guilty of having roti canai and teh tarik after my morning jog in the weekend. ^-^!
How do you normally start your day?
At the moment, my weekday breakfast would be a sip of water when I wake up. Then when I arrived to work, I down a glass of warm water first, followed by a cup of oat with honey and then a cup of Neslo (Milo & Nescafe mixed together). And yes, how I drink the three glasses are in the order I mentioned. XD
Though I have been guilty of indulging eating hotcakes at McD because of their free Big Breakfast vouchers recently. Huhuhu
But definitely no more Nasi Lemak for breakfast at the moment. ^^
my breakfast during weekdays will be simple one because of rushing to work..
ReplyDeletenormally just buy two pieces of bread outside the LRT station and that's it..
ReplyDeleteas for weekends, normally i don't have breakfast!! why?? because by the time i wake up, it's brunch time already, hahaha!! :D
ReplyDeletemy breakfast during weekdays are also simple since we need to reach the office on time. usually i go for something light, like biscuits with milk. n of course, for weekends we eat out! :)
ReplyDeleteI usually have a simple easy breakfast during the week like oats with fresh berries and honey or muesli. I like to have a bigger breakfast on the weekends when I have more time to enjoy it!!
ReplyDeleteJapan Australia
Interesting combination but isn't the oat+honey quite filling on its own?
ReplyDeleteAs for me, weekday b'fast is not even in my agenda. I have just enough time to beat the jam and get to work but on weekends I love roti canai!
I used to love the McD hotcakes but now I've resorted to making my own Pillsbury pancakes. LOL
@SK,
ReplyDeletelucky you, can sleep in on weekends. The latest I'm allowed to is 9.00am, and by then my Son would start complaining at me. LOL
@levian,
ReplyDeleteThat's simple. Bu most important, we don't skip it, right? :
@Japan Australia,
ReplyDeleteThat sure sounds nice. :)
@sriyany,
ReplyDeleteMy oat? I just mix a spoonful of instant oat with hot water & honey in my mug. Ample enough to last till 12.00pm. ^^
I'm usually really early arriving to office (it being walking distance to my FIL house helps) so I do get to enjoy a leisurely morning brekkie on weekdays.
Mmmmm... can I have some of your pancakes? ;p
Hmm... two different beverages to kickstart the day. Interesting..
ReplyDelete@HappySurfer,
ReplyDeleteI need all the liquid I can drink. :P
I start my day with breakfast and a cup of tea! :)
ReplyDelete@Mei Teng,
ReplyDeleteHeavy ones? :)
I MUST have my morning coffee or I'll be a grouch all day. I used to only drink coffee for breakfast but since I started running, I always have a sandwich consisting of chicken meatloafand cheese before I head for work.
ReplyDelete@Nick,
ReplyDeleteNo coffee and you'll be a grouch? Takut! XD
That's a nice breakfast you have.:)
I usually bake at night(when everyone sleep soundly in bed), that will be my next morning breakfast, hehe...=_=
ReplyDelete@Alice,
ReplyDeleteHow nice to enjoy freshly baked bread. ^^
Not really fresh, overnight the bread turned keras liao(homemade bread is like that)! Have to steam again very troublesome one, I prefer to bake cake, easier!>_<
ReplyDelete@Alice,
ReplyDeleteBut those bread are much better than preservative-laden store bought bread.
I can't bake, but I love bread and cake. Any chance to "rasa" your cake on of these days or not. ^^
aku makan kat kedai mamak dengan encik afzan dulu bad, baru gi opis. itu pasai masuk opis memanjangggggg la kul 10. ekkekekekk :D

Hehe, if you don't mind to be my guinea pig, it'd be our great pelasure to serve you, lol!;D
ReplyDelete@Alice,
ReplyDeleteI certainly won't mind being a nicely fed guinea pig of Alice! I bet your readers are too! :)
I usually start with a glass of water. Then it's time for fruits, fruits and more fruits!! Haha!
ReplyDeleteI never ever eat nasi lemak and roti canai for breakfast! Unless I'm on vacation Haha!!
ReplyDeleteOccasionally, I like to have Western breakfast consisting of sausages, eggs, beans, toast with ham and butter with a cup of hot coffee!
ReplyDeleteAnd sometimes I like to start the morning with dim sum and Chinese tea!! Love that!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a long time since I have cereal with milk for breakfast. That was when I was small! Hmmm, maybe I should have that too once in a while. Yum!!
ReplyDelete@foong,
ReplyDeleteYour breakfast is sooo healthy.
Cannot eat cereal with milk already for me. Cannot take milk otherwise stomach will give problem. ^-^!
Continental breakfast is nice, but I only take them when I'm staying at a hotel, which is unfortunately not very often! XD
I usually start my day with a breakfast (in the US) of orange juice , yogurt, and oatmeal or cereal. But in the Phils., it's a complete breakfast of rice and some other viand. Then after breakfast, I read my devotionals, pray and worship, then I go online.
ReplyDelete@Bing,
ReplyDeleteBoth are equally nice. :)
