From Taiping Pigi London?
I don't need to fly to London to use the iconic red telephone booth! Wakaka
Anyway, on the running front - after three races : two road and one trail in September; I am looking forward to my next one in less than three weeks' time. It's a night run and in Putrajaya.
Anyway, on the running front - after three races : two road and one trail in September; I am looking forward to my next one in less than three weeks' time. It's a night run and in Putrajaya.
Putrajaya Night Marathon - here I come!
After this run, I have CICM Responsible Care run on Nov 4th, then maybe a 10K run while the boys do a 5km walk in World Diabetes 5K Walkathon & 10K Fun Run the week after CICM. Then for Dec, maybe Newton 25K Challenge. We'll see how it goes yeah?
The wife and me actually wanted to do the CICM as a repeat run since we ran it last year but it clashes with my Malakoff Powerman Asian Duathlon championship run ... Definitely doing the Newton Challenge again this year!
ReplyDeleteAll the best doing the two running leg at Powerman Nick! You da man! :)
DeleteNewton - 25K for both of you? :)
I'm trying to slowly build my way up in preparation for the 42.195 next year so Newton 25K is a must! ;)
hahaha, so good right, you are already in London when you visited Taiping the Malaysia Day week..
ReplyDeleteSymbolic or some nonsense like that lah... On Malaysia Day, went to London. Tak meet the Queen only! Bwahaha
Deletein fact, i don't think there is a single telephone booth in London that placed the word "London" there!! hahahaha, those who are really smart knows that trick~~ :D
DeleteYou went there and expert dy...
DeleteI kampung... tak pernah go London. xD
who say?? you just went there during the Malaysia Day holidays mah.. bwahahahaha!! and you go buy those souvenirs from MV, all will believe you went!! :D
Deleteyah le .. so happy .. can stop by London ..kakaka
DeleteOMG! I am last to comment here. I am sure Gadis Petai sure marah!! Soli soli soli ok.
DeleteSometimes I must be the first and sometimes last lah.... I wanna delete many sites out of my blog roll list. I tend to overlooked many times.
I thought you boycott my blog already. wooo woooo~
Deleteactually just photo is not enough, you still got to buy some souvenirs from London to convince your friends and relatives..
ReplyDeleteAla... at that souvenir shop at MV also can buy those seemingly like overseas mari magnet what! xD
Deleteexactly that shop i mentioned, bwahahahaha!! next time can go there and get some fridge magnet for bloggers lah.. then tell them they are all the way "from London".. :D
DeleteSo after this, remember don't buy us bloggers fridge magnet! Later we skeptical it's bought here, locally! wakaka
Deleteanyway, i have yet to look closely at those magnets.. i forgotten to check if there are "Made in Malaysia" printed at the back.. hahaha!!
DeleteMade in Malaysia OK what.
DeleteI thought all items now Made in China one? Even Japan mari souvenirs. xD
like that not good lah.. at least Made in China is better than Made in Malaysia lah, i mean if getting souvenirs and not the quality..
DeleteBut you know, Made in Malaysia is usually for export mah... not for local market.
DeleteI see lots of them in Japan. xD
Daiso also got sell soap Made in Malaysia tau! ;p
actually Made in Malaysia is kind of associated with quality for those exported goods one.. only we in Malaysia are using low quality buatan malaysia products..
Deletehahaha .. sk now I know your idea.
Deleteso next time just buy some souvenirs over here for the monthly winners ..
I found the stuffs sold in the local Korean Marts are cheaper than in Korea itself! So I went to buy them after I ran out of Korean souvenirs. The Japanese stuffs are more costly here!!
DeleteTM,
DeleteYou familiar with Korean marts here ah?
Their gochujang, doenjang & chilli powder cheaper than what is sold at Jusco x?
I didn't go and compare prices like that. That one need to ask SK who very sibuk and bising one like Mak Nyah.
Deletei just found a shop in MV (i think S&J at the LG floor towards Gardens) that also sell all kinds of fridge magnet "from" London, New Delhi, Paris, New York etc etc..
ReplyDeleteThis comment clashed with my reply above.
DeleteYeah, that's the shop lah! No need to travel far to buy overseas souvenirs! LOL
yalah, those at RM2 versus £2, like that save 5 times your money lah.. kekekekeke~~ like that shop so much lah, so thoughtful :D
DeleteYalah... no need to waste money buy expensive souvenirs when you go overseas. Return home that time, just stop at MV and buy souvenirs! kakaka
Deleteso the very true!! somemore no need to carry all the way so heavy right.. come back senang senang go to that shop and buy a few lah..
DeleteThe important thing is the thought, right? ;p
Deletewow..that's nice..cuti-cuti malaysia..
ReplyDeleteOh, they have the red telephone booth in Taiping? I only saw these booths at Kota Kinabalu!
ReplyDeleteNight run in Putrajaya? So will you be putting up for the night at Putrajaya?
ReplyDeletePutrajaya is so near la... My category will start at 8pm and I shld be finished b4 midnight. No need to spend the night there. :D
DeleteWe had one here. Dunno if it's still there or not... Never bothered to take note.

DeleteOps! Jgn makan byk sgt! Nnt banyak load nak carry time lari FM! bwahaha
lina, I actually will prefer night run than day run. Not so hot and I do not need to wake up so early. How I wish Taiping has a night run?
ReplyDeleteFor me, it's the opposite.
DeleteNight run is really draining for me. The air is not as fresh. It's at night so I will have done a lot of things during the day and may be tired as opposed to morning runs, where I run first and then only settle my weekend chores.
But yeah, no need to wake up early for night runs. ;p
Night run is the best and I enjoyed the Putrajaya Run. So cool air and nice view at night with the lights on the buildings and bridges.
DeleteRunning at night in Putrajaya can be nice but warm for me!
DeleteSure sweat bucket loads. But for Putrajaya, better night than day because when it is siang hari, Putrajaya is too damn hot, right TM.
I like Bukit Tunku area in the morning. 8am still cool and quiet. ^^ But damn those hills! wakaka
I think you joined the later runs. I ran during their second year and it was after rain, so it was cool and windy until I shivered. Sure bulu Roma pubic naik.
DeleteI recognized the first booth.... ok, second, is in KK (as labeled on the booth) and third, em, never seen it before.
ReplyDeleteWhere is the third one located at?
I've never been to London mah, org kampung juga!
DeleteThird one bukan in London meh? wakaka
DeleteSpotted in the Royal town. ;)
Yake? But SK said not in London one. Those in London are not labelled as 'London' :s
DeleteNight run, yay! No sunburn mark~~
ReplyDeletebut have to suffer from humid night air. xD
Deletesaves a lot of money wor...no need plane already arrive in London hahaha
ReplyDeleteI think the trail run will be tougher right?
DeleteMeow,
Deleteahaha betul! Save money on airfare. kakaka
Trail is much tougher than road.
Taiping really good ..
ReplyDeletehave this kind of phone booth..
if it is in KL i am sure it will be vandalise by ppl...
SP,
Deleteyalah.. here booth also can go missing, never mind the phone. :(
LOL....it won't go missing in KL. the thieves prefer to take ATM machines!!
DeleteI want to plan a trip to taiping..

SP scared kena smother to death by Mak Yan's loving bosom! wakaka

Don't push yourself too much. Take it easy, k? ^^
The first time I saw this type of London phone booth was outside the Old Smoke House in Cameron Highlands. I took many photos with that one.
ReplyDeleteWhen I went to London, I didn't even bother to take photos with it. Idiot me.
I never did take photo of it when we visited Cameron Highlands. But arrived Taiping that time, dunno why got so excited. Me also idiot lah...
DeleteI must remember to pose and pretend to use public phone if I ever visit London. ;p
