Tuesday Randomness
We are down to our last mooncake. No more super sweet snack after this and will have to wait to enjoy them again next year. Of all the mooncakes we got to enjoy, I still prefer the traditional types more than the new ones. Didn't care much for the red ruby mooncakes or the cheese ones either. Bring forth the mixed nuts mooncakes to me! ;p
A budding blogger in the making? Like mother like son! LOL
The two boys enjoyed watching this movie yesterday. I didn't tag along because I wanted to catch-up on my reading. I ended up getting a few posts ready for my other blog and didn't do much reading. xD
Need to catch up on some running too. Been laying low for the past few days as my plantar fasciitis acted up big time. *blergh* I so badly need a run to clear my head. Hope I can, tomorrow.

Happy Tuesday everyone!
You cried so much just yesterday and you seems to be in good spirits today. I am sure your grandma wishes to see you happy again.
ReplyDeleteWhat is wrong with my blogs? Someone asked me about the long delay. Well, I have only posted 200+ in 4 years!! That is my speed and mood. I prefer to read and comments while my blogs will grow cob webs! Kakakakakakaka
Of course nothing wrong with your blog, but we just wish we can spam you there more often! Bwahaha
Deletei agree with Lina
DeleteRight, meow? :-P
DeleteBetul, betul, betul~
DeletePlantar fasciitis? Huh? Wait. Google.
ReplyDeleteOh, it's a foot ligament thing. It's also called "policeman's foot". It sounds very painful. Does this mean no high heels either?
PS: Love that photo of Raimie. ^^
policeman foot? Interesting. Now it's my turn to google why it's called such. :-P
DeleteNope. No heels for the time being. Bohoooooo!!!
I didn't check; just assumed it's because Mr Plod (I assume you read Enid Blyton's Noddy as a child?) walks so much! Well, except in Tokyo, where he cycles a lot. ;)
Delete"Halt, in the name of Plod!", he says.
DeleteGosh... brings back memories. ^^
I knew you'd knew it! :D
DeleteEnid Blyton is one of the reasons, if not the main one, why I became addicted to books. The Famous Five, The Secret Seven, Malory Towers, Mistletoe Farm, St. Clare's ...
Memories, indeed!
Oh my fellow jungle woman... Me too! I started with Bom, the little toy drummer, then move on to Famous Five (I absolutely wanted to be just like George!), Secret Seven (we had a group set up and pretend we were just like them and went sleuthing), Malory Tower St Clare's.
DeleteDo you know that I used to save, beg and steal to buy Enid Blyton's books? I had a mean collection of them by the time I was 12 and I never asked my parents to buy them for me.
I am forever grateful to my primary school - the Methodist Girls' School; for stocking up those books (they were old and I think I was the only one who read them).
p.s. I used to read Noddy to Raimie when I was pregnant with him.
DeleteSadly, he thinks Enid Blyton is too sissy for him now. :(
No wishing chair adventures for him. Bah!
p.s.p.s
DeleteI actually moan about not being able to share my love of Enid Blyton years ago in :

;p
Maybe I do need to get myself a baby girl. heh heh
Hey! You did not post the photos your son took...
ReplyDeletehshaha... I should, shouldn't I? :-D

DeleteWoww, da super duper ABC Special looks yummy n heaven sent though, Raimie sure had a BIG appetite too, just like his mommy dearest... hehee...
ReplyDeleteSo adorable following his Mom`s foot steps, a potential blogger n runner in the near future.
Happy Tuesday kak Lina, speedy recovery n practice, practice n practice 4 your HM in this coming PNM... =D I`m down with food poisoning n could not run last 2 days. Today I must collect the mileage debt!
Ouch! Get well soon.
DeleteYou got it after you did "We run KL" I hope?
Nike Run KL will be held this coming SAT, still lacking of mileage n training, 3days already not running, felt sooo lemau already n getting fatter..
DeleteI'm freaking out by now Kak Lina, enuff of resting due to tummy problems n rainy day... Wish me to do well for Nike n PNM next week... Mode super cuak already... Wuaaa

DeleteKakaka
Alah, no need to cuak lah... Just go and have fun! AND PB! ;)
lina, how your boys find the movie? I plan to bring the girls for this movie on this weekend.
ReplyDeletethey enjoyed it a lot. :)
Deleteyierrr, i've not been watching movies for quite some time lah.. the last one was Resident Evil a month ago..
DeleteI'm not sure the movie would still be screening on cinema after my daughter finishes her final exam :(
DeleteExam starts next week, boo hoo~
My last movie was Puss in Boots. Now only watch kiddie movie only.
DeleteI don't like action. Too scared to watch horror. Nobody to see romance film with. How? ;p
Raimie had a giant ice kacang. Shiok la!
ReplyDeleteitu Taiping punya ice kacang. But kena share-share la...
Deleteyeah, i recognize that ice kacang from her Taiping trip lah.. look, it's already melting while waiting for the mother and son to puas taking photos..
DeleteAh ha! No wonder it looks so familiar! Hahahaha! I wanted to comment so, but if it's wrong, ppl say I perasan sendiri.
Deletei think i still have one or two mooncakes in the fridge
ReplyDeleteSyiokla.. I no more mooncake to enjoy dy
Deleteeat little bit by little bit nicer, eat too much later jelak and you won't want to eat mooncake for 10 years..
DeleteOK what! No need to go crazy and putting too much sugar into my system everytime mooncake festival comes! xD
Deletestill got mooncake left?? how many have you received so far?? i don't think you ever go buy mooncake yourself right??
ReplyDeleteeat all the expensive ones first (eg: the chocolate mooncake from mandarin oriental) and left those cheaps one for last~~ :D
Deletei actually prefer the snow skin than the baked skin.. but of course the traditional lotus paste is the best, for me minus the egg yolk lah..
DeleteYeah, I don't buy my own mooncakes. What for? Sure get a lot at the office. Some more I can hoard them also! wakaka
Deletesure not a problem to bring Raimie up as blogger of the next generation right?? maybe not taking over your blog, but it's good to let him start off with his very own blog..
ReplyDeleteand you should keep his blog as a secret from us!! wakakakakakaka, else his blog will be hamsapalized like his mommy's blog!! :D
Deleteso you took a photo of him taking photos of the food, and he tool a photo of you taking photos of the food?? how funny mother and son~~
DeleteHe reads my post, but fortunately doesn't read all your hamsap comments! LOL
DeleteLets go running! I like my mooncake with egg yolk and almond ehehehe
ReplyDeleteResting the feet to make sure I don't aggravate the injury. Putrajaya Night Marathon is next week! @.@
DeleteI still have 1 mooncake - tiramisu, yummy! I like coffee-infused food, toffee, tiramisu, mocha, etc.... couldn't care less the name, I just know them by their generic name: COFFEE!
ReplyDeleteYvonne loves her coffee it seems. ^^
DeleteWah, you must have had a lot of mooncakes at home. :)
