Sigh... Such Efficiency

To receive an e-mail from the Borneo International Marathon organiser apologising to us as the event is now postponed. No, I'm not blaming the organiser. They've done their best to try and make sure runners didn't get shortchanged as there will be 2,000 international runners joining the marathon.

Why? Because they received a letter from the police department yesterday(!) to advise them on postponing it.
I guess the police felt it will be too unsafe and all police personnel tom be deployed elsewhere where it'll be dangerous on the eve of polling day. Hmmmm :(

A cause of worry - 700 detonators were missing from a quarry in Menggatal. Was security lax? Over such big amount of explosives. Scary. Read about it here.

For BIM organiser, we'll see you next year hopefully.
