As Per Doctor's Order

Three pairs of shoes.

One I need to chuck away and not use anymore. I've found out it's the cause of my niggling foot pain.

Which of those three causes me problem?

No, my favourite red shoes isn't the one.

Neither is the brown wedges.

It's the flat Crocs!

Turns out I can't wear flat shoes after all! Nothing too flat, that is. I thought wearing them will help quicken the recovery of my foot pain earlier this year. No wonder I kept on limping in them.

And yeah, the good doctor (a female, by the way) absolutely OK for me to wear heels. But those 1.0 inch la. Nothing too flat and nothing too high. Wedges was absolutely approved.

Good thing I adore wedges.

And yeah, I'm back to running around in my red heels again. ^^

  1. It's more comfortable to wear a little heel. But not too high as it could be very tiring to walk around for long.

  2. oh, i am surprised too to know that the two heels are not the ones that cause your foot pain but that crocs!!

p/s: hey, what's that bombastic technical term that you used to describe your foot pain again?? :p

    1. Dei! It's not a bombastic word la... It's a medical term. :-P

  3. hmmm, i would also think that the flat one would help to ease your pain.. maybe that croc is too flat already without good support to the arch and the entire contour of the feet?? anyway, i never own a croc - i always think it's too ugly for me to wear~~ haha!! :D

  4. i always have a piece of extra shoe pad placed in all my shoes, feel more comfortable and also to give more cushion for support.. got it from Watsons lah, cheap ones those you need to trim according to your size but good enough, two pairs at around RM6.. my feet used to feel like tearing into two if i walk too much, but with the pad i don't feel that anymore..

    1. but of course with your wedges and that crocs, probably you can't put those shoe pads, hahaha!! look ugly with pads lah, unless you buy those transparent gel type, and more expensive ones.. :)

    2. So far I don't need them la, because I like the slip on shoes rather than those "full" shoes.

  8. For heels that balut all the toes and the back, I would add a piece of soft sponge like what sk did. And go clobber to add a piece of rubber at the bottom so that when I walk won't be noisy kik kok kik kok sound. My office no carpet last time.

  13. My right still hurt, slightly sore around the peroneal tendon... Need to get this heel lift to support the pressure.... The peroneal tendinosis was caused due to the overuse and repetitive use of the ankle... Rested almost 2weeks now... Hopefully will be fit before PNM & KOTR.... =D

    1. Is that what the orthopaedic or whomever doctor diagnosed too?

Rest well... Better rest two-three weeks rather than cannot run for months. Trust me, that would suck more.

      Get well soon!

    2. I went through the internet and referred to various sources about my injury... It's the same soreness at the same spot.

Thinking of going to meet my usual podiatrist but my budget was limited this month. Rest I must... I felt much better by this week, thanks Sis Lina! ;D

    3. I dunno la but I seriously think you better get it properly diagnosed and check.

And, shouldn't / couldn't you claim this under your medical coverage?

      Apa pun, get well soon.

  17. No wonder my wife also subs-consciously prefers non flat shows to walk. She could even wear heeled boots to walk in cold winter which I thought was insane and dangerous. She often slipped and fell wearing flat slippers. Now this is an interesting discovery. You no tipu me?
