Kids Meal & Adult Portion
You went into a restaurant with your child.
You ordered something from the menu, and something from the kids menu.
You were served accordingly but actually it was served wrongly.
Mommy ordered this actually. From the Kids Meal. Cheesy Pizza.
This joint used to have ribs on the kids meal menu. No more now. :(

Son had the adult's meal because he is a growing boy, after all. ;-)
It's one of the new burgers on the "New Beginnings" menu. Nacho Lamb burgers. Son was happy with it.
And this time, Son remarked that the staff were very friendly. Yup, they were and Mommy likes that. ^^
Daddy wasn't around this time. It was a lunch date for Mommy and Son. Occassionally, it's nice for him to spend some time with one parent instead of both.

errr, well, we cannot blame the waiter/waitress for serving you the dishes "wrong" but it comes to a common sense that the adults will be served the adults portion while the kid (or shall i say the younger one) be served the kids meal.. your case is just a little different but may not harm to actually ask first which is whose beforehand right?? asked in a humorous manner and i guess you can even feel more friendliness of the waiter/waitress?? :p
ReplyDeleteEih! I didn't blame them. ;)
DeleteBut yeah, if they pretend to ask, sure funny and makes it more fun :)
ah, so long i've not been to TR already lah.. wanted to go yesterday while passing by, but then left the RM20 voucher behind so don't want lah.. at last stumbled upon an unexpected restaurant and went in.. not the best i've tasted (hehehehe, sounds so somebody you are familiar with??) but the spontaneous and surprise added marks~~ :D
ReplyDeleteYalah... Some more eat fancy food. So jeles with Ah Boy ;)
Deletehaving the photo a second look, that burger actually looks quite small to the young man huh?? i am sure he had no problem finishing the whole dish by himself now, probably the mommy even gave him some of her fries~~
ReplyDeleteIt's quite substantial Ah Boy. In the end, he finished the lamd patty but didn't finish the bun.
DeleteThat's funny orders! Mummy and son swapped the meals today. I also started to share all the single orders with my wife as she went on strict diet. Money saved too! LOL
ReplyDeleteAiyoh! Why Letchumi wanna go on strict diet one?
DeleteHe got such a big portion. Nice...and great time to be with your kid.
ReplyDeleteIt was a nice meal with son. :)
Deletelol ... mummy is decreasing (dieting)? lol...
ReplyDeletedidn't want to eat a big lunch so kids meal is the best option. Save $$$ also.
DeleteHaha interesting!! By the way that's lots of fries there!!
ReplyDeleteYup! ;)
DeleteI've become so used to Japan's adult sizes that even kids' meals in South Africa are too big for me! :D
ReplyDeleteI think my boy will need two portion when we visit Japan! o.O Oh dear... :P
