Once There's One
and now there are four of them~
Remember our Meow? A stray that somehow adopted us as her family?
She gave birth about a month ago to three kittens and suddenly went missing.
Imagine our surprise to see her and her brood waiting right in front of our front door when we came home yesterday.
Meow came to us on two days before Chinese New Year, along with the kittens! Our neighbour was kind enough to provide some milk and cat food for the kitties before we got back.
Mommy got a box with some old clothes for the family to sleep in and they seemed quite settled, sleeping just outside the yard.
The family was gone yesterday and Mommy and Raimie were super worried.
But this morning we found out that the family felt that they are more comfortable settling under the hedge below our home.
Well, actually Meow was waiting in front of our front door this morning waiting to be fed. Later we found out where the kittens were.
I guess Meow and the family loves it here more. More space to run around, for one. The kittens are sure a boisterous bunch. They kept darting to the road and Meow kept on chasing after them and "scolding" them.
It was super cute to see how kittens kena reprimanded by their mommy. No different from us human mommy. LOL
Abang and Meow.
This is the curious one
The quiet one, on stalking mode
Hard to take a photo of this chap here. It kept on darting everywhere and fighting with siblings. Then kena marah by Meow. ^^
They're so little and cute!!! =]
ReplyDeleteThey sure are! :)
DeleteI love kittens so much! They like to play around, try to bite anything, especially our fingers... They r so adorable... Meow is such a loving n strict mommy indeed... ;D
ReplyDeleteKittens are cute but couldn't help feeling sad that we couldn't offer them our home. We couldn't cope!
DeleteThose are cute little kittens. The wife and me now also resort to feeding the cats in our backyard much to the chagrin of Pebbles. Every animal should have a home.
ReplyDeleteGood thing Pebbles can't go out and chase those cats away! LOL
DeleteTrue, every animal should have a home. I'm feeling guilty for being unable to really open our home to them. All I can do is to give them food. I know it's not enough :(
Ooooo.... so cute! Are you going to keep the kittens?
ReplyDeleteWe can't. How to keep, we're only at home after 9am everyday. It won't do them any good if we keep them caged the whole day. They can/do enter the yard though.
Deleteoh, where is the father?? anyway, nice to hear that the Meow family was back and that Abang has now become Pakcik to three.. oh, surely he is growing huh?? :D
ReplyDeleteAh Boy,
DeleteFather cat mana ada buat co-parenting with mother cat one :P
aaahhh, so the Mommy finally started to give in slowly huh?? now she's getting the Meow family a box and some old clothes for them to settle down in the yard.. probably she sees herself when the Mama Meow was "scolding" her kids?? the most natural motherhood submerges~~
ReplyDeleteeih, apa pulak dengan submerges?? hahahaha.. should be emerges dei~~
DeleteThat's all I can do la.
DeleteThey still cannot masuk rumah.
Even if I allow, I don't think it's wise also. They are an active bunch. How to let them live running around and scratching around in an apartment? o.O
cute cute all the Baby Meow.. so now more friskies and also probably some more milk to go when doing grocery shopping??
ReplyDeleteFriskies memang sudah a few months masuk dalam grocery list. :P
DeleteWow! Certainly not easy to have so many pets at home...
ReplyDeleteI admire those who are able to do so. As it is, we only "partially" adopted these strays.
DeleteAwwwww! Your photos are soooo comel. That abang also cuter than Meow. Hihihihi.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to say that I love cats too but I have been chasing them out from my garden cos my neighbours must have taught them to poo in my garden. Oh the smell! Bluek......!
