Saturday's Excursion - Day Trip Before Ramadhan

While a slew of people seemed to be heading to Gunung Nuang on Saturday for training or hiking or picnicking or ALL of the above; before the start of fasting month, we decided to head to Putrajaya and tackle a much easier route instead.
We arrived at Taman Canseri in Presint Diplomatik at around 8.30am to start our walk. Yup, just planned to do a bit of walking. 4hours walk. Nothing to strenuous. Muahaha
Before long, we ventured into Taman Rimba Alam. Putrajaya is planted with a lot of local trees and it's certainly quite nice to see and learn about them here in Taman Rimba Alam.

The trees planted in Taman Rimba Alam are all labelled!

But this durian tree wasn't. LOL

Not a durian fruit in sight. Hmph.
Checking out the scenery at one of the hills "conquered".
and then we stopped by at a section of Taman Rimba Alam that's planted with local fruit trees.

Kuinin were in abundance. We didn't pick any. Pity, right?
Rambai fruit were in abundace too but they are all unripe and not fit to be eaten yet.

After like an hour of checking out the fruit trees there, off we went to check and walk on more hills.
Rolling hills. Some shady. Some shadeless.
Feeling like I'm top of the world! On a bukit.  Hahaha

Another hill conquered.
Finished our walk after 4hours and 30minutes. But first, let me take a selfie. Hehehe

Next excursion like this (late morning, long hours walk/run) will have to wait until after Ramadhan. Daytime runs will be short and end shortly before buka puasa.

Long runs will have to be limited to night runs. A running group that I followed will be doing a 15K run on Friday night. Maybe I'll join them.

In the meantime, how's everyone's second day of Ramadhan?

    1. Well, unless you are really well versed about places in Putrajaya, it's not a surprise you never heard of this place though I've blogged abt it a few times. :-)

This isn't a tourist spot after all. But the best thing is, it's right smack in the administrative centre of Putrajaya. ^^
