A Bit Too Pre-Occupied
Zaini had always been resigned to my obsession with my blogs and being online. When I had some trouble with my wireless Maxis Broadband connection and I have yet gotten the Celcom Prepaid Broadband, he let me spend time at Starbucks catching up on fellow bloggers' posts and reciprocating visits and drops.
Poor Zaini, he even fell asleep waiting for me finish up. Raimie on the other hand, was pretty happy being allowed access to his Ninento DSi without interruption.
But I learned something after not being able to be online for a while. Life still goes on, and I didn't die for not being online. Yes, I haven't be that much obsessive nowadays and only limit myself a couple of hours in front of the computer screen. That's good, no?
And thank you dear hubby for always been supportive to whatever "nonsense" I decide to do at the moment. BTW, missed you so much when you were outstation. :-)

oh he's deployed somewhere now?
ReplyDeleteit's the other way around here Lina, it's hubs who is like you =)
ReplyDeletezaini is so nice to give in to your whims even satying in starbucks to let you finish up...
ReplyDeletei am enjoying blogging asmuch as before not only because i get to have some opportunities actually that's just secondary reason but more of the interaction i get from fellow bloggers. With everybody I feel like I have an extended family near me. It's hard to be far and away from the family...
@Ayie,
ReplyDeletejust for a few days, but I'm not used to him being away. Luckily he doesn't need to do it often!
He is nice, that's why I love him.*^-^*
I too love the interaction with fellow bloggers, including you Ayie! :)
Hi Lina :Wah! Your hubby is so supportive towards your blogging hobby.
ReplyDeleteRegards,
Willie
Morning Lina!
ReplyDeleteWa wa... midnight and still awake blogging? :P
Your hubby is sure great to be that supportive of your blogging passion and Raimie too! But guess his passion for his Nintendo DSi was distracting him as well. hehehe.
Oh Zaini is away? He will be back soon :) and by then, you get to hold him again :P.
So nice & sweet of your hubby waiting u there!
ReplyDelete@Willie,
ReplyDeleteHe is always supportive with whatever I like to do even though soemtimes he doesn't understand why I like them. :)
@ladyviral,
ReplyDeleteIf Raimie isn't distracted by his Nintendo, we wouldn't be able to sit in one place long! Or he might just decide to run around the place checking out other people. :D
He's back and it's so nice to be able to snuggle up again. ;)
@Dora,
ReplyDeleteYes, isn't he a sweet guy. :)
oh that's sweet of you! I never thought I would want to everyday check and see my fellow bloggers. At first I just blog because I want to share junior's passion while we were apart, just to support him. Now I finally understand why he was so much into blogging during that apart time. I feel that now too away from my family. I'm just so happy to meet you all here. Now I feel more confident pushing our travel to M'sia. I want to meet you guys =)
ReplyDelete@Ayie,
ReplyDeleteLike me, I always feel the need to visit others' blogs daily, otherwise I feel like something is missing. :D
You are planning to visit Malaysia? That's great! SO when are you guys dropping in? Let us know, k? :-)
Maybe Zaini should start his own blog. Then you both can sama sama blog. Haha!
ReplyDeleteWell, I survived 10 days in China without blogging although I curi curi go online also. Luckily China banned blogspot, so I could not blog! : )
ReplyDelete"Life, In My Own Backyard" has been included in this weeks Sites To See. I hope you like the image I featured, and I hope this helps to attract many new visitors here.

I just blogged something about life without computers. :-) Definitely not easy!
ReplyDelete@foong,
ReplyDeleteI doubt that he wanted too. He doesn't even understand why I like to comment spam on people's blogs. LOL
I guess life goes on once we accept that we can't blog sometimes. Like you, I survived a week without doing so last year, while vacationing in Terengganu. ;)
@FishHawk,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link. And yeah, I like the image you chose too. :)
@Gallivanter,
ReplyDeleteI read that post. :)
Yeah, life without computers (with internet!) is definitely not easy for me too!
The plan was really to go there with my bestfriend before I left Philippines but she was assigned in M'sia by her company so we had to cancel it out then plans with hubby before coming here but some unfortunate things happened and we had no time anymore to travel. maybe it all happened for a reason, now I know alot of friends there I won't feel lost anymore =) We're hoping we can swing by when we finally get to visit back home.
ReplyDelete@Ayie,
ReplyDeleteIs your friend still working in Malaysia?
Worry not if you decide to travel to this part of the world. Plenty of friends around. :)
hahaha....the things a blogger's husband has to end! :P
ReplyDeleteI was very busy for the past few months and missed blogging and visiting my blogger friends.
Have an enjoyable weekend and spend more time with your hubby! :D
ReplyDelete@ECL,
ReplyDeleteYa, you've been missed too. :)
Have a great weekend too. What's your schedule for the weekend. Packed, I bet. :D
I guess non bloggers would never understand why we spam other blogs. Haha! Even some bloggers also don't understand what more non bloggers! : )
ReplyDeleteNope she's no longer working there, it was just a short time dispatch for training. O hope travel plans there will be ironed out well in time.
