Looks Good Enough To Eat
Raimie's sushi eraser collection (and some other food item too). They do look simply scrumptious, don't they?
I guess now we can buy these easily here, at Daiso or just some random shops but we got his collection from friends in Japan and bought them when we were there.
Raimie doesn't play shop/restaurant much anymore nowadays, but he used to love playing it and served sushi erasers to us. What made me be reminded me of this sushi raser collection of his? He took out a battery-operated talking menu that I bought at Jusco the evening before. ^^
But one thing for sure! You won't be seeing him using these for any real erasing! I forbid it. LOL
definitely a great collection he has!! i like them, they just look impressive to me how real they look..
ReplyDeleteYes. And the attention to detail to each eraser made is awesome. All the part - say the tamago sushi; can be taken apart and put back together. Nice, right?
Deleteof course such nice erasers are for the eyes only in the collection!! i won't be willing to use them for real erasing.. (i rather use my hand and saliva. wakakaka!!!)
ReplyDeleteMust not touch SK's notebook written with pencil. Just in case got saliva stain in it! Muahaha!!!!!
Deletei saw these erasers in daiso too, but not as many varieties.. and these are handpicked souvenirs from japan, more precious lah, haha!!
ReplyDeleteYala... the thoughts and the memories hat came with the erasers made it very, very precious. ^^
DeleteWere some of them bought in Kappabashi, by any chance? ^^
ReplyDeleteWhy, of course! ^^
DeleteWhat a pretty collection! Must have taken years to collect them.
ReplyDeleteIt shouldn't take years if we live in Japan! LOL
DeleteWah, they look cute. My wife would love to get her hands on these :D She likes cute stuff like these. They should make some in the shape of running shoes, sure I buy one ... hahaha!
ReplyDeleteLOL
DeleteI'll keep a lookut for any shoe-shaped eraser for you! ;)
Wow! These are erasers? They look so real! Haha wouldn't want to "accidentally" eat them! :p
ReplyDeleteHahaha betul3. ;)

ReplyDeleteDefinitely lah! Who wants to use them must really have no appreciation to thoselovely, cute, tiny sushi erasers. ;)
DeleteWow that's a BIG collection! So nice!
ReplyDeleteNot as big as we would like it.
DeleteThere are other cool things for the erasers too, like vehicles etc but we only have food erasers so far. ^^
Oh! NO HE SHOULD NOT DARE to use the erasers as erasers ahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteI would prolly keep them in a proper rack or something :))
My Son doesn't use them other than play "restaurant" with it. He is a meticulous boy, that one. xD
DeleteYea... kids do that during that age. My niece and nephews love playing that game too
DeleteOne of the nice collection set in the home, remember wipe it everyday else will gain lots of dust attach with it :)
ReplyDeleteHi Kian Fai!!!!
DeleteHahaha that's true. Which is why, I don't really like to collect knick-knacks. Suffer when it's time to clean. xD
when in my time, eraser only got 1 shape with many kind of cartoon with it! Rubber Eraser now a days is too extraordinary LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat kind of eraser still around. Kids all have lots of them now, like we used to. ;p
DeleteBut yeah, nowadays the eraser shapes all so grand one. Sayang to use lah. ;p
I collected flags of the world earsers when I was in primary school. Incomplete set but still have them. :)
ReplyDeleteCool! And way cool that you still have them, ECL. :)
DeleteHappy Valentine's Day, my love! ♥♥♥
