Twenty Seventh Day of Ramadan. Preparing For The Eid
O Allah, on this day, bestow on me the blessings of Laylatul Qadr, change my affairs from (being) difficult to (being) easy, accept my apologies, and decrease for me [my] sins and burdens, O the Compassionate with his righteous servants.
We've been fasting for twenty seven days! Raya (Eid) is beckoning!
You all prepared for the Eid? Done your shopping? Baked/bought your Raya cookies? Clean the house?
It'll be a very low key Raya celebration for us. Like always.
Even the house cleaning was low key.

No new curtains. Just washing up old curtains and hang them up again. ^^

Raimie's been a help. I learnt from experience not to be too fussy and over-bearing when asking my son to do chores. I used to hate it. A LOT!
I let him do his chores, check a bit and encouraged him but what I feel he was unable to do properly, I finish up later... No, I do not like to nag. I used to be nagged and scolded a lot and I swore to myself I won't ever do it to my kids. Nothing good comes from berating a kid when one wants to teach them life values and responsibilities. Not for chores, anyway. For studies... YES! ;p
Son's school already closes for the Raya holiday.
Mommy will be working up to the day before Raya. We'll probably head back to Mommy's hometown after work (Mommy only needs to work half-day on Raya eve) or the Raya morning itself, after spending the morning with Zaini's family. We'll see how it goes.

Owhh your entry reminds me to wash my curtains and hang it up again before Eid's Eve... Am being lazy bump to wash it all these while, so now is a good time...

Normally bila saya buat scaling, the toothache will go away, pagi esok je bole walk in coz arinih by appointment only siang - malam... Too many plagues I bet! @_@

yeah, the 27th day of ramadhan!! three more days to go and it's Aidilfitri.. and i noticed the twenty-somethingth day of Ramadhan comes in odd number days.. just nice, the last being the last day of ramadhan just before Raya.. :)

Deleteoh, how nice to have a mommy like that.. never nag, and will just quietly finished up whatever not done properly!! but of course, i am sure Raimie is also a loving son too lah, surely he will massage his mommy when she merajuk having to do his work later~~ :D

many schools already closed for the raya holidays today huh, meaning the kids all have a two weeks break?? but then need to have some kind of replacement schooldays later after Raya right??
ReplyDeleteSchool holiday starts on Wednesday, proper but most school use the "cuto peristiwa" and close for two whole weeks.
