Something Local, Something Fusion
Lunch with colleagues at Pasta Zanmai.
Current craving - anything salady (heh) and I chose salmon salad with goma dressing. Sinful, I might add.
Me, I've never been a fan. Must be because of the chilli sauce. I really don't like chilli sauce unless it's mixed with tomato sauce.

August special - prawn, squid & rocket salad tomato sauce pizza.
Teriyaki chicken and onsen tamago pizza. I like the small size pizza. I ordered a regular this time and it went soggy really fast. HUrmmm...
Service was fast despite our big crowd so thumbs up to Pasta Zanmai staff. ^^

I just had rojak pasembor at silka hotel last week :)
DeleteWah, sate kajang! Heard so much about it but haven't got the chance to taste it~
ReplyDeleteIf come to KL can go try la... they have branches not only in Kajang. ;)
DeleteWhenever I think of Pasta Zanmai, it brings me happy memories of bloggers and the free generous treat! How can I forget yeah? Look at the first photo and I salivated immediately. LOL
ReplyDeleteI often wonder why there are so many Satay Kajangs everywhere. Do they have anything that is different from others? I love all the satays until I could not tell their difference other than prices only. The hawkers sell better satays than most hotel buffets. It must be the charcoal and home made seasonings!
DeleteWah ini antique lover...
DeleteSate Kajang is a type of sate la... if got that style, can sell anywhere also. Haji Samuri sate has a LOT of branches nowadays and not only in Kajang, for instance. :)
One thing is different - sate kajang peanut sauce serve a milder peanut sauce with a bowl of chilli on the side so you can adjust the spiciness yourself.
Thank you for your kind explanation. Now I can share with others.
DeleteIt's not a special knowledge Anay. Hahaha
DeleteOne day, let's visit the sate kajang museum. :-)
Yummy. I like chille sauce. Of course, tomato sauce. :D
