Water, Water, Water... Shots
When the day is hot, isn't it just lovely and relaxing to be near water and feel cool just by looking them flowing?
It was a hot day when I was at Lake Garden last weekend, so I decided to chill out by taking photos of the "mini waterfalls" there, practising using the manual mode of my Sony NEX-5 camera.
Hmmm... Looking at these photos made me wish I can go away and spend a few hours at a real waterfall. Maybe I should head back to my hometown for that, soon. ;-)
Waaa...
ReplyDeletenice shoot Lina. Do you need to change the setting of the camera for this picture? or is it just point and shoot?
@zezebel,
ReplyDeleteNo, not just point & shoot. I was practising using the manual mode - the photos wouldn't come any good if I didn't twiddle with the settings.
cool....
ReplyDeleteyeah, the weather is so hot these few days, no raining.. and i have the same thought like you, jump into the cooling waterfall and cool myself down, haha!!! :D
ReplyDelete@Willie,
ReplyDeleteGood to be cool in this hot weather. LOL
@SK,
ReplyDeleteYeah, way too hot.
Pity cannot jump in water at Lake Garden otherwise I would've done that. XD
Oh, so inviting and peaceful. This is my kind of spot. Thank you so much for sharing these today, I really enjoyed them.
ReplyDeletewow, looks so welcoming. i could even feel a sense of relaxation and calmness from here.
ReplyDelete@Poetic Shutterbug,
ReplyDeletePeaceful, isn't it? :)
And I always enjoyed the beauty of nature from yours so thank you too for sharing your photos. ;)
@LR,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that. ^-^
Those pictures make me feel like taking a nice long dip what with the heat wave we've having right now.
ReplyDelete@Nick,
ReplyDeleteToo hot nowadays,kan? Now I'm missing the rain but the the rain pours I'd wish it would stop. So fickle minded of me. XD
Nice shots of the waterfall!! I love waterfalls! Still remember the one I went to at Kenyir!
ReplyDeleteWah! You learning how to use the camera manually? I have yet to learn! Everytime also auto only! LOL!!
ReplyDelete@foong,
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see the waterfall in Kenyir one day! :)
I kinda not liking the Auto mode of my camera, even my old point & shoot one, that's why I am so excited to have better control of the photos I take. ;)
OOOohhhhh, love those shots! Nice practice huh!
ReplyDelete@Ayie,
ReplyDeleteIt's good to get to practice. And Zaini was patiently waiting for me. while I was shooting away. :)
