Just In Time
This baby of mine just came back after spending a few weeks over at Sony Service Centre. Just in time to capture more running shots at Newton Challenge this Sunday. *phew*
Problem with the memory stick slot, and it took more than two weeks (must be waiting for the parts from Japan, as it was so long....) and I'm RM190 poorer. The parts was charged at "only" RM50 but workmanship in Malaysia sure is expensive! RM40 to check, RM50 for parts and the balance was for workmanship. o.O
You know, I am very much tempted to get the Samsung Galaxy camera. Just imagine the number of photos I can instantly bombard you with, using a wi-fi enabled camera! No more need or excuse to use huge iPad or tablet taking photos and instead, use a proper camera for a change! ;)
I can't live without a camera..
ReplyDeleteHow many cameras do you have? :)
DeleteOooo....impressive!
ReplyDeletewow, really expensive workmanship huh?? or shall i say with RM100 that can be considered as craftsmanship?? :p
ReplyDeleteCraftmanship kalu, dia kasi taruk RM1000 Thambee! Hahaha
Deleteso you are gonna hang this block of thing around your neck when you run?? haiyoh, beratnya~~
ReplyDeletelol.. i think lina also carry a lot of things..
Deletea big banana is a definitely..
This gadis is like a mini Doraemon, she can stuff everything in her pocket!
DeleteThis one, when attached with a bigger lens will be carried by Zaini while he waits for me at the finish line.
DeleteI usually run with a point & shoot Sony. :)
Yvonne,
YES YES I can carry lots of stuff (bekal) on my runs. hehehe Preparation mah... xD
aiyoh, this Sony not good enough meh?? you still want to get the Samsung camera?? just because of the wifi??
ReplyDeleteSamsung camera is so much promoted in the media. Marketing strategy because they know their consumers weakness :)
DeleteGot Wi-Fi then no need to use iPad mah... I can immediately upload photos even while running. Real time update! Cool! xD
DeleteActually Sony also got camera with wi-fi enabled model. But Samsung is promoted heavily now, like Yvonne said. :)
then might as well you don't repair the Sony, so that you got an excuse to get a new camera.. now with that repaired, aiyah, seems like not appropriate to get a new camera right?? :D
ReplyDeleteNew camera lagi habis more $$$
DeleteThe new NEX 6 model tha I want cost RM4000+!
But I need a new point & shoot camera which is to complement this back-from-service camera and to replace my old Sony T90 camera. :)
i saw so many people taking photos with their iPad in shopping malls recently!! hahaha, all those christmas deco makes them pose stupidly and took photos with that idiot iPad~~ :D
ReplyDeleteMore and more people resort to using iPad and other tabs to take photos. I saw several parents in my kids kindergarten used it to record video of their children crying in the class on the 1st day! What for?
Deletethose spare parts are really expensive
ReplyDeleteParts not bad la, SP.
DeleteIt's the labour charges that they charge sky-high!
Just send and check - touch here touch there without doing anything also kena RM40, you know! @.@
aiye just take a small portion of your bonus and get the samsung note 2..
ReplyDeletethen you will be the queen of spammer in SK blog
Don't like the look of it. ;p
DeleteI never like to take camera..
ReplyDeletei feel it is very troublesome...
normally just using my bb to capture all the pictures.. and the pictures really suck
I like using camera, but the cons is, they are bulky. The small and compact ones usually don't capture nice picture.
DeleteThere are a lot of compact cameras that can take nice photos too, Yvonne. Though they can cost a lot too. ^^
Deletehaah..Samsung Galaxy camera tu sgt yummeh.
ReplyDeleteSangat mengancam perasaan, kan? ;p
DeleteI sooo want a Samsung Galaxy! I'm due for a contract renewal with Docomo next year, so ... maybe ...
ReplyDeletePS: That's a very nice camera, though! So where are the photos? You tell Dru to publish Sox photos, but where are yours?! :D
What photos? ;p
DeleteI haven't been taking any photos lately. No camera, remember except the dinky one I always take on my runs. :)
p.s. Is Dru publishing Sox photos any time soon?
I always wish to have a better camera too, I need one which zoom in and the picture still looks clear. Any recommendation, lina? Not too expensive one, please.
ReplyDeleteI don't know much la... I am always a loyal user of Sony anyway. ;p
DeleteBecause when my girl plays ping pong, I find my current Sony camera, when zooming in, it was kind of blur. So, I also think of getting a better camera. I prefer those lighter and easier one. Just good enough for an idiot like me to look pro in photographing.
ReplyDeleteGet a Nex lah... can fit in those telephoto lenses and zoom until the zit on people's face also can be seen clearly.
DeleteNEX is my camera model. Current model is NEX 6. Body small. Lenses can be as big as you want. :)
Samsung Galaxy Camera good ah? Expensive or not?
ReplyDeleteRM1899
DeleteI've been longing to buy a DSLR cam for myself, it's just that its too expensive. lol.....
ReplyDeleteColors and Grays
I've been using my phone's cam and would just edit it in photoshop to make it crispier and to balance its colors.
ReplyDeleteColors and Grays
I'm a lazy bum when it comes to editing photos. I usually never bother to edit them before posting them here. xD
DeleteEver since I got a nice camera on my phone, my camera is now stashed somewhere in the drawer... poor thing.
ReplyDeleteBut if I get my hands on Samsung Galaxy camera, that would be another story, nyek nyek!
I used to bring along my camera in my bag to wherever I go. I love capturing all the food I savour (you can tell I'm a glutton auntie, lol).
ReplyDelete*my previous phone camera failed me.
Now I just use my phone, easier :)
DeleteCamera phone is definitely easier and mor convenient. :)
DeleteBut camera is better for better quality and maybe artisitic photos? :)
Lina got so many months bonus!!! Tunggu ape lagi! Buy now!!! Take photos as memories for old age! This is priceless investment.
ReplyDeleteWei... cannot just simply hantam buy saja tau! Must do research properly.
DeleteMoney don't grow on trees to be wasted, unlike rich Anay lah! Hahaha
I used to buy sophisticated cameras over the years but they gave me problems one after another! I think DSLR are more lasting but too heavy for Anay's travels. I love to snap from mobile phones - sharp enough and can edit as well. Senang dei..!
ReplyDeleteDSLR is too bulky for me too. That's why this NEX camera is the best for me. ^^
Deleteso u bring ur camera along during running or what?
ReplyDeleteSentiasa bawak Bet tapi yang compact, point&shoot. Yang lens besau tu, Incik Zaini pegang & tunggu kat finish line. But ada kamera pun, not all races I ambik gambar. Masa PBIM hari tu takde pun... sbb gelap. hihihi
DeleteKalau you sampai before I do, my "official" photog will take your photos when you call his name. LOL
I will call his name after this.. hahaha.. but opkos my arrival time will be more than you are!.. =)
DeleteKenot... Nak Incik Zaini amek gambar, you kena sampai before I do. Mcm Nno buat masa MAKNA run hari tu. heh heh
DeleteOh so expensive the labour?
ReplyDeleteWe Malaysians must be paying for "very skilled professional" labour. ;p
DeleteA Samsung Galaxy definitely wil be more handy than a camera IMHO. Unless you want really good quality photos which you don't really need to if you want to bombard us with photos hahaha!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'd like a Samsung Galaxy camera better than a Samsung Galaxy smartphone. I like to twiddle around a camera more than I like playing with a smartphone. But hey! That's just me. ^^
DeleteThis comments thread refuses to accept a "reply" up there, so I'm down here.
ReplyDeleteDru is ignoring our Tweets. Hmph.
You don't have photos? Rubbish, woman, I'm sure you have gazillions of autumn photos that you haven't published yet! ^^
I need to keep some and use those in 2013 & 2014 posts, you know. :-D
Deleteya lately have a lot of ads about samsung camera. instant posting. But makes me woonder how is the battery life like. If smartphone if we use for internet FB etc, the batt very fast drain. hope it wont happen for samsung camera
ReplyDeleteTrue also. Lucky you mentioned about that. Haven't thought about the battery life.
