A Dental Appointment, Finally
Let's see... it's been ages since my last dental appointment. A year, if I'm not wrong.
I'm not scared of the dentists (as a matter of fact, I once harbour the ambition to become a dentist but since I wasn't smart enough...) but just lazy to make an appointment and head to the dental clinic.
So, as we were nearing the date of our Taiping trip last week; I made an appointment with a runner friend of mine at her dental clinic. In Taiping.
Well, it's like killing two birds in one stone. We get to make a trip to Taiping, I get to run in King of Bukit Larut AND also see a dentist!
The clinic was recently opened and manned by a husband and wife team. Both dentists and pretty good runners too. And oh, the doc is a blogger too.
Meet Dr Julinda of Klinik Pergigian Seni Senyum. ^^
The good doctor in action.
While I was in the patient chair getting my teeth all nice, cleaned and polished; hubby waited at the reception/waiting area. And what a nice area it is. Spacious, comfy AND you get to look at the doctor's trophies too. Don't play play! Hah Hah
It was certainly nice to meet her that day. I tried to poison her into running in the King of Bukit Larut but she was busy that Sunday. Pity. Otherwise, she'd probably sapu the top spot there. ^^
If you are in Taiping and in need of a dental appointment, why not visit the clinic?

Oh by the way, I didn't tell the doc I'm writing this post. Yeah, I'm bad like that... Always hantam do stuff as I like.
Hope she doesn't mind this post. Doc Julin, kalau mau edit or anything, beritahu.
The clinic and the doctor, of course is highly recommended. Serious.
Hey Lina, I am very scared of dentists!! I mean going to get my teeth done.. not the people.. hahahaa... but your dentist looks very gentle ... and pretty too!
ReplyDeleteShe's very nice.
DeleteHighly recommended. :)
nice! a good dentist who runs too!
ReplyDeleteYup, nice right? :)
Deleteat least you have regular dental appointment and checkup..
ReplyDeleteI only went to the dentist when I need to get something fixed~~
what a shame.. :p
Well, at least that. Hihihi ;)
Deleteand you have got a dentist friend, that's even a happy bonus!!
ReplyDeleteat least you don't have to fret and sweat when you see a dentist..
huhuhuhu ^^
But pity, she's so far away otherwise I'd be her loyal customer.
DeleteMy next visit to see her would have to be in 2016!
Ok. This is a little strange but the doc looks a little like my schoolmate (from what I can remember) and her name sounds pretty much so too....
ReplyDeleteby any chance, are you from Alor Setar?
DeleteYup - Alor Setarian :)
DeleteWow. Jejak kasih?
DeleteAww Lina, of course I don't mind. In fact, I really appreciate it and terharu lagi.
ReplyDeleteAnd it was a pleasure having you guys over.
Almaklumlah, bukan tiap2 hari ada retis datang hehe
Bukan senang nak jumpa the ohsem running doc in grey pants too! ;)
DeleteGood to hv regular dental checkup.
ReplyDeleteThe doctor's smile is the perfect advertisement picture for her dental service! XD
ReplyDeleteI don't like the dentist clinic that I have been going to here in Penang. They have 3 different doctors and every time I go, I will be treated by a different one. And they all gave me opposite advice! :/
Next time, you request or insist to see only one lah! I do that. :P
DeleteSame with SK, i only goes to the dentist if i need to get something fixed as i'm afraid of dentist...
ReplyDeleteHope you don't see them often, in that case. ;)
DeleteDalam berlari-lari, kita pun mesti jaga gigi! I am overdue for dental checkup. Not that I am scared of dentist but more of laziness on my part.
ReplyDeleteLOL
DeleteNice pantun! :)
Well done! I also used to scare of them but not anymorre after my wisdom tooth extraction. Thanks to the numbing gel that reduces pain during injection.
ReplyDelete*thumbs up*
DeleteWow, it's interesting to know that there are blogger dentists out there too! I'm really afraid of going to the dentist, but I do visit once every 6 mths as advised. xoxo
ReplyDeleteVery good! :)
DeleteOh No! You are scaring me again about dentists. I have just finished my stint after being the guinea pig for the dental students at Mahsa. Enough to last me for 10 years.
ReplyDeleteI really like the name Seni Senyum and the pretty smiles of Dr. Julinda.
Student doctors care and someone who used to head the dental department of Taiping Hospital sure different. :P
