Bargain Gatorade!
Once in a while, there's this cheap promo priced Gatorade on sale and with the "Best Before" date still months away... No harm hoarding them, yes?
I bought a carton. A few running friends bought 2-3 cartons. And this stash of ours should last until October. ^^
I do bring a bottle or two of isotonic for my long runs (3-hours upwards), apart from mineral water but sometimes nothing beats a local drink.
Like a cold bottle of cincau drink! Chrysanthemum drinks are quite nice also. Bliss for a hot sunny day, that's one thing for sure. :-)

wah!!! so cheap dei!! months away to expiry?? no problem, I would also carry a carton home if i was there!! got purple ones??

ReplyDeleteWhat a good bargain! It took me a long time to appreciate this brand as I was too hooked with other junks until my friend who was a QC for that company gave me dozens. Suddenly I found it more refreshing than other gassy drinks.

ReplyDeleteSeriously the Gatorade need to have someone to plan their supply chain to avoid overstocking. Last year near CNY was the worst, expiry only in 2 months time. But this is good to consumers like us :P

ReplyDeleteWhat a coincidence! I am thinking of buying some isotonic drinks, which likely will be pocari sweat as it is not a carbonated drink. Another option is 100 plus edge. I like Gatorade but its a bit expensive but if got promo, then ok la...:)

1 carton.... but cheap prices! I boiled my own chrysanthemum drink. These days weather too hot, easy to fall sick.
