Oh My Poor Aching Body

Photo Credit: LocalFitness.com.au

No rest and not late morning for me, not even in the weekend. Waking up early (in 6 or 7 hours' time, actually) to send Raimie to his school for a weekend camp. Both Zaini and I will then head to Lake Garden to do a few hours(!) of jogging and light workout before picking up Raimie from school at noon.

I've been faithfully doing workout daily now (with rests on Sunday) and be at the gym from Monday - Friday at 7.00am before heading off to work.

At least I no longer need to wake up at 5.00am to do my morning run! Waking up early is HARD!

Why all the workout for? I need to be more fit before our trip to Japan (and hopefully go down a dress size or two). And this preparation is way better than my preparation last year. Last year was all about going off to see physiotherapists and ENT months before our holiday. @_@

I am actually enjoying my sessions with my trainer even though I'll be aching all over the day after.

  5. @Life Ramblings,
    Hope you have a great weekend too! :)

    @ECL,
    You are so busy!!! If I don't sleep by midnight, I have trouble getting up at 6 am too! :D

  6. @ECL,
    Wow! That's cool! I'll definitely "prod" Raimie to have a look at the site. :D

    And good luck to all who wants to try too! :)

  7. Wow! So hardworking, even better than me now. I only workout 3 times a week! You workout at the gym everyday from Mon - Fri and then even go jogging at Lake Gardens for a few hours during the weekend? Must salute you!

  8. Even got a personal trainer? How often you see your personal trainer? Everyday? Wah! Must be rich lah considering it costs about RM120 per hour nowadays, no?

  9. Hope you achieve your goal before you go Japan! Good luck!! : )

  10. @foong,
    Wake up oredi to make sure Raimie board the school bus each morning so after that I head straight to the gym. Used to be difficult to wake up because we were based in Balakong. Die-die wake up at 5.00 just to have a half hour's exercise. :(

    Only twice a week. Where got rich, slimming centre charge more to slim down. :D I don't have RM5,000 to slim down. LOL

    I hope I reach my goal before we head to Japan too. Thanks! :)

  11. @foong,
    I'll start limping if I see my trainer everyday. Even twice a week also, sore for days!

    ReplyDelete
  12. So you see your personal trainer twice a week? On other days you are on your own? Good for you! I thought your personal trainer trains you every day, haha!

    Actually, I cannot do exercise everyday! Must do alternate day otherwise will be too much for me!

    But I like the soreness and muscle pain! I look forward to the soreness after my workouts. Would be disappointed if no soreness. LOL!

  13. Hmm just a question lina, where's the gym in which you work out? How much is the membership? Sorry for being a bit kaypo, just wanting to compare that's all. XD

  14. That's a tough training. You seem really determined to go 1 or 2 sizes lower...hmmm will we see you in bikini after that? =)

  15. @foong,
    I like being sore too after a good workout. Shows that I worked hard enough. :D

    I don't do very extensive workout on my own. I just try to burn 250 calories for 15 mins then hit the abs machine (tummy flabby lah) then another 15 mins cardio workout. @_@

    @Jim,
    The ones that my friends who recently signed up paid was RM1144.00 for a year's membership. Quite a good rate lah. Monthly payment is around RM135.00 if I'm not mistaken.

    @Ayie,
    Yep! But cannot wear bikini during winter time in Japan! I'll die freezing! LOL

  16. That's very....affordable! There's only Clark Hatch in JB and the cheapest is RM 1200 per annum. Been there for 10 years already. New one's RM 1800 per annum @@

  17. @Jim,
    Forgot to mention - I go to California Fitness. Quite cheap leh... RM1,800 = RM150 per month. Quite steep. Better facility or not?

  18. Well I asked and they said they had beautician services thrown in as well. Apparently they have jacuzzi and spa, and the new one is in a hotel. Hence justifying the price? Lol.

    ReplyDelete
  19. @Jim,
    but are the services free? ;)

    But then, maybe due to no competition, they can be a bit expensive.

    ReplyDelete
  20. No not free. @@

    I'm thinking it's lack of competition. How dare they?!! :P

  21. Indo Boarding or Indoors Surfing is the good way to boost one’s athleticism by optimizing core strength and providing cardiovascular endurance. This workout demands dynamic bursts of energy needed to constantly pump the legs, upper body for peddling thus working on the all the muscles. It is a complete mind-body workout. It has many health benefits for upper and lower body.

  22. @Upper Body Workout,
