Out And About In Penang - Admiring The Architecture
I enjoyed my family's trip to Penang a lot. Although we were there for just one night, I had fun strolling around and admiring the Colonial-style architecture that can be found in Georgetown.
wow i havent been to penang for a very very long time.. mesti dah banyak changes there.. if only i can have one month off and just go anywhere i want to within malaysia..
@Nick, Penang is steeped with historical buildings and street names. I sure hope all is properly preserved for our future generations to see and learn from it.
Oh, I just loving seeing all types of architecture, new and old. I also find that I am beginning to really love photographing it. Thee are wonderful shots that you have captured.
Wow! You covered a lot of places. Are they all within walking distance? Nice buildings and good shots, Lina. Glad Penang is a Heritage site so that the charm of colonial architecture can be preserved for posterity.
@Shingo T, You tried a lot of Penang food while you were there? Lucky you! :) I need to revisit the Island again and eat all those great food people are raving about someday!
@HappySurfer, The places that I went to, I walked to get there. Yes, I am glad Penang is a heritage site. The charm of the Island should definitely be retained not just for the tourists but for our future generation too! :)
@Ayie, Yup. I was actually thinking of that. If you ever come to this part of the world, I wanna take you to Penang so that we can explore the island together. :)
