Smoke Gets In My Eyes

Saw the Smokin' BBQ beef promo at McD a week ago and decided to try it.

Got a double smokin' BBQ beef that look like this:
It's a double beef burger and you can't even see the second patty! Smokin'? It was just a very thin dollop of BBQ sauce in the burger.

Rip off! I mean, that's a DOUBLE? Tarak kenyang la!
My sandwich with BBQ sauce in it is way better lah! Today's lunch. Zaini made the filling - potatoes, broccoli and egg sandwich. Cold Storage bought rolls. A generous slather of Hunts' Hickory & Brown Sugar BBQ sauce. Sedap, I tell you!

    i saw their advertisement and also attracted to try out their new Smokey Beef Burger.. how yummy they have described, something grilled pineapple infused BBQ sauce or was it my imagination?? but then...

      ... tarak rasa pineapple at all!! and the lettuce they gave, just shared with McChicken and Big Mac lah, mana ada looks like the whole full pieces as shown in the photo?? cheating lah~~

      actually i added extra BBQ sauce, those nugget sauce they gave extra last time, like that hantam kasi dia baru ada rasa BBQ!!

      Really lah, nothing special abt the burger. Just order normal burger and add the BBQ sauce also taste the same. o.O

      no lah, i didn't.. the other time because the new guy got the wrong order, so the more senior girl gave me extra nugget sauce for my nuggets.. so i kept them lah, seeing 2 more days to expiry, i just use them for my burger.. but i wonder if they would give you the BBQ sauce if you didn't order nuggets??

    i've already expected that thin beef patty that was why i did not hesitate to order the double one!! you were right, tarak kenyang at all after having that, i even ordered the large set you know??

      Haiz. Really feel like kena cheat. Some more, stupid float. Where got nice drink a float if they also dumped ice cubes in it? Very weird la wei! :(

      i don't drink float other than A&W's root beer float lah.. but i am very happy, even Ah Na tarak kenyang with that large set and double beef burger!! hahaha, i am not the weird one alone~~ :D

      For A&W case, only their root beer is good now. Food quality went down the drain. I kept getting cold fried with them. :(

    yalor, your own sandwich is even nicer lah!! herb & spice roll from Cold Storage with potatoes, broccoli and egg filling from Zaini plus the hickory BBQ sauce!! eih, if put a piece of burger patty, a slice of cheese and then some lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber.. perfect lah!!

    I went to McDonalds again just now to buy that Horlicks McFlurry again, noticed the promo of that burger. I agree with others that their price is getting ridiculous for the portion. Trust me, they will close shop one day and become history.

      They are too deep ingrained in fast food culture around the world so I guess they'll have longevity because of that. :(

      Still, I think Malaysia McD really no standard one compared to overseas. How can they even serve cold fries also? Or flat Coke?

      Yet... I still visit them *slap forehead*

    I have to agree that McZaini Burger is way healthy, yummy n generous amoun of filling too... Maklumla, cooked with lots of love... hehee... I luv BBQ sauce too... Blend it juz nicely with any sandwich... Yummeh! Drooling already hahaa...

    Huh, McD with its deceiving ads, and I thought KFC is the champion in giving deceiving ads, portion wise... hahaa... Tipah tertipu sgt... Sigh

      But I have to stress out, KFC Malaysia sucks. They are not that bad overseas.

      Same as McD.

      Actually, any food chain brought into Malaysia will sooner or later suck. Our QC really sucks! Even Tony Roma's suck now. Seems like they can't get enough profit so must try and short-change even loyal customers. :(
