Year-End
and school's officially closes for the year.
School holidays time.
UPSR results came out. Congrats to all students who received their results on Thursday. 5As, 4As, 3As, 2As, no As, whatever. You all did your best. Good job.
Raimie's school held it's "Anugerah Hari Kecemerlangan" on Friday.
He already completed his Standard 5. He'll be in Standard 6 next year. My little boy is a big boy now. One more year and then he'll be in Secondary school. Time flies.
Yeah, I gave him grief and plenty of ribbing for sliding down to 3rd spot instead of his usual 2nd. But he took it good-naturedly. Actually, whatever results he gets, Mommy and Daddy will always support him. Love him no matter what. That said, it doesn't mean that we (yes, WE) shouldn't work hard to be better next year.
OK, admittedly working hard in this household still means time to play will not be axed. Work and no play will make Raimie a dull boy. We don't want that, do we?
But yeah, Mommy will try her best to accompany and tutor him better for Standard 6. Mommy got lazy this year, so Mommy is sorry to Raimie for that.
Let's just hope Mommy can handle Standard 6 maths. hur hur hur
Let's do this together. :-)
Yes let's do this together!!
ReplyDeleteOur kids grown up and we grown older and wiser (I hope. lol).
Happy holiday.
Yup, and wiser they are watching us.
DeleteSo, as parents we need to set an example. :)
Still top three leh good boy!
ReplyDeleteMummy also super mom . Can work , run, home ministry and yet tutor him in school work

DeleteTime flies! Raimie will be sitting for UPSR next year!
ReplyDeleteAll the best to him! (Erm may be a little early to wish him that, haha xD)
Thanks Hayley :)
DeleteIt's the end of the school year? Already? o.0
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Raimie, on finishing another year, plenty of subjects and a few runs as well!
Good luck to you and Mom for next year's studies! ^^
Mommy sure needs all the luck she can get! LOL
DeleteOh, the blood pressure. The boy would probably just look at mommy with "hey, it's just a subject" look. :-P
congrats to Raimie. So fast next year will be sitting for UPSR!
ReplyDeleteThanks ^_^
DeleteProud mama Lina ya. I'm sure he will be doing just fine. All the best to him.
DeleteAs moms we will always be proud if our kids, no matter what right? :-)
DeleteI also thought all mamas are like this but my wife's mama is not. Weird woman!
DeleteWah! Raimie's grown up more handsome and taller now! I can see that!... So fast and he will become a teenager & interests will change too. You will have to beg him to follow you for your outings! Anyways, you have been such a wonderful mama, so he will always love you forever!
ReplyDeleteThat's why need to ensure that he always feel it natural to join his parents activities.
DeleteIf later on he doesn't want to follow dy, at least I have the consolation that we did spent time, a lot, before :-)
Happy Holidays to Raimie and Mammee!!! Holidays must enjoy to the fullest yeah!!
ReplyDeleteGive him a week to enjoy.
DeleteNext week Mommy giving him stuff to do already! LOL
school closed and holidays just begin.. but when i go to shopping mall, i've already seen "Back To School" signs everywhere (those selling uniforms, stationery etc) !! haha, that's kind of ironic huh?? i wonder if school kids will feel unhappy seeing those?? :p
ReplyDeleteSome feels happy to go shopping wor ;-)
Deleteaiyoh, from #2 to #3 still in Top 3, i think it's good enough, in fact VERY good indeed lah.. last time Uncle SK only got once #1 in Primary 1, after that always around #4-#6 but still within Top 10 lah.. happy-go-lucky~~ :p
ReplyDeleteuncle SK went to top school. Competition was fiercer.
DeleteAnd still uncle SK always got good results :-)
BTW, that #1 is still #1?? and who overtook Raimie at #2?? next year last year in primary school, must make it a goal for Raimie to go to #1 (and beat his all time rival for the very first time), so that he will end his primary school chapter with something worth to look back~~ :)
ReplyDelete#1 still #1. #2 is his buddy. Last year was #3 or 4.
DeleteLast year Raimie got to be top for Science. But the trophy, instead of Raimie's name, the #1 name was printed on it. So had to return to be rectified. Haiz
i never doubt the way our Mak Glam brings up Raimie.. he is indeed a very good boy - studies as well as, more importantly, his attitude.. and that is why Mak Glam and Pak Kura-kura still love him so much no matter what..
ReplyDeleteLove love lah... but if jahat, mesti mau kena marah hehehe
DeleteHave to follow Mommy Kucing style a bit also ;)
"Let's just hope Mommy can handle Standard 6 maths"
ReplyDeleteerrr, why said so?? nowadays the primary school maths very tough ke?? aiyoh, i am going to blog about a math question i got from a friend, it's for Primary 1 and yet we cannot solve that!! what a shame~~
Ah Boy,
DeleteMe not as clever as you. And maths is never my strong subjects.
So I have to re-learn my maths and learn together with son wor...
