Aidil Fitri 1436H
Aidil Fitri (Eid ul Fitri) marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic month of fasting. Eid is an Arabic word meaning festivity, while Fitr means to break the fast.
And for us Malaysians, Hari Raya Aidil Fitri means Day of Celebration to mark the end of fasting.
For me, it's a time for joyous celebration and an excuse to look forward to see family and friends whom might be hard for us to meet at other times.
My family sans one sibling.
I know I have been terrible at getting back or meet-up with my own family members so at least we have the Raya. ^^!
This year, we also need to made a special stop here too.
Selamat Hari Raya.
Maaf Zahir dan Batin.
hehe very true, Mak Glam seems to have running events every weekend, hence "I know I have been terrible at getting back..." ^^

ReplyDeleteSelamat hari raya aidilfitri to you and family :)
Thanks for the wish everyone. :)
ReplyDeleteYou know I came from very huge clans too and I always felt bad that my relatives only met up at weddings or funerals. They don't even bother to meet during CNY. Times have changed for some.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you made time and had a good time with them! Bagus!
